This is an old fashioned place. Thw food was good. But the jewel is the service. Prompt, efficient and friendly without the affection of friendship that is so phoney. The server doesn't tell you her name and says she's there to help you. The relationship is tacitly understood. There is no hovering, no one one third of my age called us guys, no asking you how it's tasting the moment you put the first bite into your mouth, no one asks you what your plans for the day are as you pay. Such feigned interest and contrived friendship is so annoying but not here. It's real. I tried to go back for dinner but they close at 3pm. Otherwise I'd be there twice a day while I'm in Edmonton.

An old standard. Used to come on weekends when I was working not far away. It's been renovated and it's nice and clean like always, the wait staff are friendly as heck and efficient - your coffee will almost never go empty here. Food is good. Nothing real fancy but breakfast done well. And fast - got stuff to do today and we were in and out quick. That's an always too....from order to food on the table is real quick. Nice to see that besides the reno - not much has changed, and that's a good thing.......

Busy place on a Sunday mid morning. Service & food were good Disappointed the scrambler was just egg omelet over the filling, and shedded hash browns could have been crispier (though my fault should have asked for that). French toast was thick and filling Was an easy location to get to and plenty of parking when when we arrived though it filled up by the time we left

We were there for breakfast on Sunday and had a really nasty experience. The server was racist and extremely rude my seven year old commented "mom looks like she doesn't like us or maybe she doesn't like to work here or is just too tired"..we had to walk out after a heated argument and she actuallt screamed "leave" but we sadly still had to pay in full for a meal we didn't really eat. .... where can I file a complaint? I would like to take this matter to cbc trouble shooters as well, but I would like to first speak to the owner, since the manager was not good either. I have both their names and my receipt. I never got a call back or follow up. Don't waste your time and...

Finally! I’m often in restaurants for lunch. I’m also a club house sandwich amateur. Nothing beats a good well done club house sandwich. Also, I love mayonnaise. When I order a club sandwich, don’t give me a sandwich with cold bacon, that processed turkey meat slice. No. At this Albert's , I asked the waitress for mayonnaise everywhere in the sandwich. It took 5 minutes to get it and wow, finally, the toast, bacon were warm and crispy. Mayonnaise everywhere, real turkey. Even the fries were warm and crispy!.
