I have been frequenting Toast since it has opened, and let me tell you, what a treat you are in for when you come to this beautiful, unique, location on Jasper Ave!

Josh Wilhelm, owner/operator, is best of the best and epitome of hospitable. He has a genuine approach to taking care of both his staff, and guests alike - this shines through everytime a customer walks into the store.

I personally have been involved in the hospitality niche for many years, (not that this means much) but what I have noticed what separates good, from great, is how Josh operates this business. He has an uncanny ability to turn strangers into friends upon one visit! You are not going to get that at your big corporate store.

The staff here are amazing!

Each one of them are personable, attentive, professional, and fun - leaderships flows from the top down. Their warm approach to service makes people feel welcomed and appreciated.

The food is top quality, Jeremy, the man behind the counter, has some of the best creations I have ever tasted - and I can tell he has fun creating these dishes, (which your line cook at your corporate store, isn't having).

Love and fun are the differentiating factor in great food!

Anyway, if you are looking for a great date night, brunch with the family, a business meeting, or just a guy / gal looking for a beer or coffee - I believe that this is place you will...

My boyfriend and I frequent this area often because of the nearest park views and we always saw this place from afar. So one day we stopped by and had brunch here. We were free to sit anywhere we'd like.

I got the Thai Cashew Noodle and Avocado Salad and my boyfriend got the Culture Breakfast. We didn't wait long for our food and our server was helpful and nice. Upon arrival, the food was plated beautifully. I loved how vibrant and colorful my plate looked.

Although my boyfriend and I cleaned our plates entirely with no crumbs leftover (just sauce marks lol), we felt like our food was just okay. When I saw Thai Cashew Noodles on the menu, I envisioned a thicker noodle diameter. But instead I had thin spindly ones. Also the thai cashew sauce was good, but it was pretty watery. I wish it had a thicker consistency. But I did like how the veggies tasted fresh and the avocado was so creamy.

For the price ($20 CAD), I was expecting a pretty large portion but I was able to finish my whole entree. I normally have food leftover whenever I go out to eat, but I was surprised that I finished everything. With this price being the most expensive on the menu, I was let down. It was decent but not amazing. For me, I wouldn't come back just because there's other tasty and more affordable places...

The artisan pizza I had was incredible 😋 perfect chewey crust with a consistent texture. Smoked salmon pizza 🍕 I think 🤔 I orderd its out of this world good in my opinion the onions have a sweet tangy sower flavour very mild very succulent lots of smokey floral tones fresh the salmon its self was delicious so yea can't wait to try more on this menu. My buddy had a breakfast he loved it felt the bread was leaning towards dry and hard other wise no complaints. He got a cappuccino I got a mocha and it was literally the best moca I have had in my life velvet smooth 😌 aromatic high quality coffee ☕️ 😍 it was like sipping heaven in a mug it was like just really nice 👌 absolute perfection 🥰 💞 my friend enjoyed his cappuccino as well. My dessert was lovely to gaze upon but the cookie sticks were dry tasty and nice but dry so I'm thinking I should have mixed it around I don't know but I was a fan of the lovely Gelato very nice and the dessert was visually on point but cookie sticks were dry so I took them home with some almond milk dipped them in the milk 🥛 all was well This location has a nice atmosphere attentive prompt service friendly waitresses , it's a really nice brunch place to meet up catch up etc, enjoy I...

I've been eyeing this restaurant for sometime and we finally were able to try it out today!! Wow!! Fantastic food! Go early as the restaurant seating is not that large but cozy none the less. We ordered coffee and a mocha to warm ourselves up from being outside in the cold wind. We ordered an... Avocado BLT (Meuwly’s capicola, arugula, tomato, guacamole & basil aioli on sourdough) Culture Breakfast (2 Poached Eggs, Pico De Gallo, Herb Roast Potatoes, Toast & Choice of Rosemary Fennel Sausage, Honey Ham or Avocado) I chose the fennel sausage and what flavor!! Culture Benny (2 poached eggs, capicola ham, arugula, pico & rosemary hollandaise on sourdough toast with herb roasted potatoes) Buttermilk Waffles (Topped with house made jam, maple syrup & fresh berries) We all tasted the different dishes and everything was delicious and fresh! We are definitely going back to try the other menu items!
