We were driving from our 10 days vacation, excited to see the vegetarian restaurant. Very poor service . Had to ask for water 3 times in 15 minutes. When ordered kulfi falooda it was melted. ..when I pointed out it's melted..Jaspreet gave me weird stare. I tried explaining in Punjabi and English it's served melted...so I jokingly said are we supposed to drink it in a bowl? Luckily my husband' s kulfi falooda kulfi wasn't that melte...it had 1 small kulfi piece.so I had to give her a demo..what's melted and what's not melted....frustrated as she kept giving me that angry stare...we were even asked to pick up our dirty dishes and stack them ourselves...we were being helpful...when you pay a premium price, you shouldn't be expected to stack the dirty dishes, eat kulfi falooda with dirty dishes all around the table, ask for water thrice in15 mins, and get angry stares from jaspreet. So if you want to ruin your happy moments, vacation, eat melted kulfi falooda soup for $8.99 please go ahead and enjoy a meal served by an angry attendant
Above all it took more than 1.5 hrs to serve 4 naans, veg sugar chaap , momos..
Response to the owner - it was a hot day we drank the water that was served ...people need water when they have a meal...maybe it's a crime as per your restaurant policy to reserve the water...had to ask 3 times in a span of 15 minutes...Jaspreet will look acknowledge and not bring water...x 3 times
The lie you are saying about falooda is really mind blowing...obviously if the first 2 kulfis were served melted who wants the third one....it wasn't kulfi falooda it was kulfi soup ...u should pour it in a glass so that people don't have to go through the torture of drinking with spoon....plates were supposed to be empty u cut 2 chaaps in a sugar gravy and charged $17.99 ...we were starving would have eaten anything..try smelling those empty plates for more than 30mins after a meal waiting for momos....you wont be proud anymore...the time sequence isn't correct...I wasn't planning on giving a bad review but Jaspreet s angry stares , when asking for water , ordering momos, ordering kulfi ...we ignored many times...but after kulfi falooda soup it was evident that kulfi must have been left out for such a long time that it melted..think about it ...it does take time to melt ..especially become soup...if you really want your business to be successful....think about what your employee is doing...we left around 10:30 because I have the checkin time for my hotel...so why did it take 9:45 pm to 10;20 pm to serve kulfi which ended up melted...it doesn't melt that fast..and who gives angry stares to customers? And we never mentioned we will not pay for momos....why are you lying ? Now I understand why the server gives angry stares because u r training her....good luck ....u really need it...stop lying man...your jaspreet was charging us for the melted kulfi soup which was not served frozen or solid form...pics were taken right away after Jaspreet said it's served melted .....and I said so are we suppose to drink it? Then its not ice cream or kulfi? She gave me the angry stare....and we refused...momos were not even in the picture.....if anyone is reading this ..u get an idea what type of people are operating this place...no apologies, we weren't even given the option to serve unmelted kulfi...and lying about everything...God bless you...u really need it...KULFI WAS SERVED MELTED AND JASPREET SAID ITS ALWAYS SERVED MELTED ...OWNER SAYS WE WAITED FOR IT TO MELT AND THAN TOOK PICS TO GIVD BAD REVIEW....R U LISTENING TO YOURSELF? WHO HAS TIME TO DO THIS THAT TOO ON VACATION ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN TRAVELING FOR 10 DAYS....WE EVEN EXPLAINED JASPREET WE HAD A VERY LONG DRIVE FROM CALGARY TO EDMONTON....IN ALMOST 40C ....WE WERE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO ENJOY THAT KULFI.....AND I HAD RABADI KULFI FALOODA ALL MY LIFE....I KNOW HOW IT LOOKS....PEOPLE DONT COME TO RESTAURANT WITH FAMILY AND WAIT FOR KULFI TO MELT....LEAST YOU COULD DO IS APOLOGIZE AND TAKE...
Read morePLEASE AVOID* Me and my fiancé came here and ordered paneer pakora and butter naan and shahi paneer. I feel as though the price does not at all reflect the value. We ordered shahi paneer for around $18 and got THREE PIECES OF PANEER IN A BIG POT! The dish is called “Shahi Paneer” and getting THREE PIECES OF PANEER IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD UNACCEPTABLE. THEY SERVED US SHAHI GRAVY NOT PANEER LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. You can’t just give a big pot of shahi gravy with three paneers and expect me to DRINK THE GRAVY????? FOR $18 DOLLARS???? After we finished our THREE PANEERS, we had to eat our naan with the chutney. NO ONE SHOULD PAY $40 DOLLAR TOTAL TO EAT NAAN WITH CHUTNEY. On top of all that the shahi paneer was so bland and tasted like SONF/Fennel Seeds AKA CHAI/TEA. I couldn’t tell if I was drinking chai or eating shahi paneer… In the picture u can literally see me digging through the pot to find more paneer. very disappointed but also confused.
Don’t get me started on the paneer pakora. It took them 25 minutes to bring 8 SLOPPY WET UNCOOKED PIECES OF PANEER PAKORE. They were completely uncooked and way too soft and squishy. THEY WERE WET? They don’t cook the food properly.
The wait time… unacceptable. We came at 8:35 and left at at 9:45.
Service… terrible. I literally I had to go to the front desk to ask for napkins and they came 5 minutes later after food was served with three napkins on a plate. Napkins on plate 5 minutes after food. I also had to ask for water 2x without it already being ready. Guys when you’re paying a premium price simple napkins and water should be provided as a standard.
Overall not impressed or happy with the food nor the service. I understand some little hiccups along the way but the whole experience is regrettable. I’ve read other reviews and they all say the same things I’m saying and the restaurant responds thanking them for advice but they don’t seem to be implementing the criticisms.
And also I want to repeat myself here before you reply saying we loved the chutneys because we emptied them, we literally had to eat the naan with them to avoid the chai tasting shahi paneer (which...

This was hands down the most disgusting, disappointing, and infuriating experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I seriously regret stepping foot in this place.
First, we ordered Chole Bhature, and for the price, it was a complete rip-off. The portion was ridiculously small compared to other places in Edmonton. We specifically asked for it to be spicy, yet it came out cold, bland, and completely tasteless. Do they even know how to cook?
Now, here comes the real disaster—the veggie burger. First of all, the employee had no clue about their own menu. We ordered a veggie burger and got something else entirely, only to be later informed by the owner. And what did they serve us? A burnt, AWFUL-TASTING mess that they dared to call a black bean patty. Look at the photo I attached—how can anyone serve something this charred and inedible? I couldn’t even swallow it properly, and guess what? It gave me severe stomach pain afterward.
As if the horrible food wasn’t enough, the customer service was beyond pathetic. There was only one person handling everything, and we waited a ridiculous 1 hour and 15 minutes for this garbage. Every single dish we got was either stale, tasteless, or cold—an absolute insult to food.
And let’s talk about the fake reviews. I read through them, and it’s laughably obvious that the employees themselves are writing them. Stop scamming people with fake praise when your food is this revolting.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. And if the owner dares to reply with one of those generic, useless responses, don’t even bother—it won’t change the fact that this was an absolute NIGHTMARE of a...
