We had our family visiting from out of town and went to the food court to eat while they explored the mall, this was around 12:15pm on August 16, 2025. One of the managers came up to our table a few mins after we started eating (unfortunately I wish I remember her name) and said she hopes we were enjoying the food and started chatting with us a bit. We had three kids in our group a 12 year old and then a 9 and 8 year old who were all sitting together. The manager then left and the kids got all excited saying she was bringing back ice cream. She then returns with one ice cream cone and gives it to the older child and then tosses some mints on the table and leaves. At first the two younger ones (and the adults) thought she was coming back with 2 more ice creams for the other kids, but after a while we realized that wasn’t the case. Which then in turn made the 2 kids that were left out really upset! If you are going to tell kids you’re giving them free ice cream, you need to either give it to them all or don’t even bother saying anything. I realize the youngest child was not eating from chick fil a (he has sensory issues and cannot eat fried chicken) but 2 out of the 3 kids were eating from there so it wasn’t like she just chose the one kid who had it. And even if that was the case - don’t do that! She just so happened to give the ice cream to the child that’s from a province that doesn’t even have these restaurants so if you were trying to drum up more business that didn’t work, and now you’ve lost customers with the people...
Read moreAll of these stars are for the exceptional customer service. They’re incredibly kind and efficient, despite being absolutely swamped during the grand opening. They had a big lineup of people inside the store and outside the store, with workers taking orders down the line. You just say your name at the checkout inside the store, you pay, and you don’t have to wait too long. I was there during peak lunch hours (1pm), and the total wait time to order, pay and get the food was probably only 15-20 minutes for a seemingly daunting lineup (the line moves really fast). Honestly the food wasn’t as good as it was in America, but I appreciated the workers’ hustle.
We ordered the sweet iced tea, sunjoy (lemonade tea), chicken sandwich, 12 piece fried chicken nuggets (with honey mustard and Polynesian sauce/sweet and sour sauce), which came with 2 waffle fries because they were meals. I personally only liked the sweetened iced tea and honey mustard sauce, as we found the chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets to be dry and not very flavourful. The waffle fries were alright, didn’t taste too fresh but it’s definitely because they mass made some for the lunch rush. The total came to ~$30. That being said, go try the place if you want but it’s definitely not the same as America!
Also if anyone is wondering, chick fil a is located in the food court near the...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Chick-fil-A! I believe the girl who took my order was named Salioh or Saioh (sorry if I got that wrong — it’s such a pretty name!). She was absolutely incredible — her customer service stood out so much, especially in a busy, loud mall where it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. She took the time to talk to me, made sure my order was right, and even asked if I wanted to try the lemonade to make sure I would like it — which was so sweet and thoughtful!
She did all of this with a big smile on her face and such a happy, positive attitude. I’ve never had someone so kind and genuinely happy to be taking my order, especially in such a hectic environment where it’s usually all rushed. She made everything feel steady, welcoming, and stress-free. She was truly amazing — and very beautiful too!
Thank you so much for the outstanding service and delicious food. I’m so happy to have Chick-fil-A in my local mall. I seriously cannot thank her enough for being so wonderful. It honestly felt like talking to a friend, which is something I rarely experience at fast food places. The restaurant itself was also very organized and clean. I will...
