I cannot rate lower, or I would.
Went through the drive through, placed our order, order read back to us correctly, no issues. Get home and the blizzard we ordered was one they decided for me instead of what we ordered and had read back to us. We call the store to let them know of the simple mistake, and we were treated like we were almost criminals. The "supervisor" refused to take my information and proceeded to argue with me, instead of just saying sorry bring it back and we will make it right. We went back to fix it and were met with total hostility. The "supervisor" refused to even speak to us and just ordered another young lady to give us our money back. When it was mentioned that this would be brought up with her manager and the owner, we were told that she welcomed it. When we asked her name, we were told Katharine DeMiare. Sorry if i spelled that wrong, but this employee needs retraining or a job in the back of the restaurant where she is NOT dealing with customers, as she is the single reason we will not ever be back at that location!!! It's simple, make the order you repeated back. if you messed up, oops it happens and fix it, do NOT inform your customers they are the ones in the wrong when you know damn well your staff messed up, fact is it was probably her and she did not like being called out for it.
How many other customers does she pull this attitude with??
Reading the other reviews it appears as customer service at this location is COMPLETELY LACKING, and despite them saying repeatedly they aim for customer service in their responses, it seems they cannot get their staff to be bothered to...
Read moreWent through the drive through for a peanut buster parfait and medium blizzard. I had checked on the app first for the blizzard flavours as I always do. The price of the blizzard came up at $6.99 and the peanut buster parfait came up at $6.99. When I checked out both items came out higher before taxes. The parfait was at $7.99 and the blizzard was $8.39 before tax… When I commented on this they said they were independent so they could charge whatever they want. Screw this DQ, I would rather go to any other one in the city. I called a few and they all said that they weren’t allowed to change the price and it should have been cheaper. I came to this one only because I was in the neighbourhood however I will be avoiding it in the future.
Some people reading this may think a couple bucks is petty, however when it’s a family of 4 and every item is charged at a dollar or more extra that’s just ridiculous. Drive down to the next nearest DQ, it won’t cost you as much in gas and you are guaranteed a cheaper meal or snack and...
Read moreWent to this location on Saturday, Oct 21. I ordered a large order. It was over $50.00. One of the orders was a value chicken strip meal and I was told there was no coupon for the sundae at a later time and I would have to order it now, strike 1. Than when I got to the window to pay I was told that this location doesn't scan for rewards, strike 2. Than they wanted to charge me 15 cents for a bag. I asked to speak to a manager. You would think that with not having the rewards and coupons for the sundae, you think maybe that the 15 cents for a bag for a large order would have been waved. That was the icing on the cake. I know that the city of Edmonton says it's mandatory but with no other benefits that other Dairy Queen's offer, I lost it. Cancelled my order. I will not return to this Dairy Queen...
