UPDATE:
Took my mom here and the food and service was wonderful. Enjoyed our late brunch.
October 2020.
The food was soooo good the last time that we were here we just couldn't resist going back despite the raging pandemic. This time I remembered to take some more pictures. Again food was delicious and service was great. Believe this is one of our favorite eating places for now.
October 2020.
Went for our bloodwork and then my husband decided that we deserved a treat, afted being poked and prodded. My hubby suggested that we go to I Hop and have some brunch as a reward. It wasn't that busy yet, because it wasn't lunchtime which was nice. A pleasant hostess took us directly to our booth. There was a small green card on the tables that stated they had already been cleaned and sanitized. Very important during these trying times. Our server brought us our drink order right away. When we were ready he took our order. He was very professional and pleasant. Ready and willing to provide us with excellent service. One negative was when he had removed his gloves while serving us. This made me uncomfortable. Our food arrived very soon after ordering it. The food looked scrumptious. We ate our pancake and ultimate breakfast deals and enjoyed every bite. My hubby tried the pumpkin spice pancakes and they certainly didn't disappoint. I tried the cinnabon pancakes and they were exquisite. Mouth watering. We certainly are looking forward to enjoying another brunch here soon. They also have Halloween decorations galore which gave the restaurant a festive feel. It has been months since I have been out so I apologize for forgetting to take pictures that day of our plates of food. Overall it was a great brunch surrounded by pleasant staff. Ignore the construction outside because YES THEY ARE STILL OPEN!!
UPDATE ** 2019. All you can eat pancakes mmmmm
UPDATE ** Came here with my son and his Caregiver on New Year's day. First our male server was pleasant and excellent at his job. He was absolutely wonderful. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was hot. I have a pet peeve and that's when food arrives cold. Was disappointed that they ran out of the chicken dinner I originally ordered. The Turkey dinner was okay. We had healthy portions and left with full tummies. Nice festive decorations and the price was right. Will be back if this continues.
The food was so, so. My chicken fried steak was dried out and hard to cut. Very disappointed. The waitress had a scoul on her face the entire time. Seems like she resented serving us. Went there again just before Halloween. They did a nice job on the Halloween decorations. I am sure the children eating there would have truly liked them. I am no longer a child and I know they put me in the mood. My husband ordered his usual breakfast order and I had the Loaded potato soup for starters along with some other dishes. Sorry I can't remember exactly what I ate, but this time I did enjoy my brunch. Only recommendation I would to make to the chef is that the soup was a little bland and could use more seasoning. The waitress this time bent over backwards to provide us with exemplary service. You have definitely re-earned back...

The last three times we've come to eat, the service was terrible: extremely slow, order came back wrong, I had to get up and approach the server to get water refills or a condiment we asked for but the server never brought. And after waiting a very long time for our food it was brought to us barely warm. The first time this happened we thought, they are really busy, everyone has off days. The second time I was thinking maybe this is the norm and the positive experience we had eight months ago was the fluke.
This last and third time, the server took our order and brought drinks quickly - a good sign, I thought. Then we waited 40 minutes and still hadn't received our food (note: there were only two of us). I didn't see our server anywhere so I asked the hostess if I could quickly talk to a manager. She said "absolutely I'll get them". I wanted to tell the manager if we didn't receive our food right away we would have to leave. I watched the hostess seat two tables and I did not see her try to find anyone. Four minutes later we were still waiting for the manager and I got so fed up we left.
Another issue: the prices have increased to ridiculous levels. I ordered a chicken biscuit sandwich (comes with one side - I asked for fruit) and classic eggs benedict (comes with one side - I asked for breakfast potatoes). These items with a regular orange juice and a pop came to just over $40. I'm sorry, those prices alone are a reason to avoid going, but if I choose to pay those prices I expect perfection.
I can't recommend this location anymore and we will never be back.
Original review (5 stars): Great service and food! Mandeep our server was very friendly, attentive and made us feel...
Read moreOne of our friends made a reservation for 23 people for this location the previous day where she was told by management that they were capable of accommodating. Upon our arrival, they had one server for the complete restaurant (including the party of 23 people that I was part of). As hard as the server tried, he was not capable to keep up (of course he couldn't, he was one person covering a complete restaurant) as management stayed in the kitchen and did not assist him. This server worked so hard to try and accommodate and every person appreciated his hard work. Management at this restaurant failed this individual. They did not help him service the customers nor did they call in help, which was required. When this was brought up to the manager as we were paying (which took well over an hour to do because, again, he was left to take care of all of us himself along with the rest of the dining room), the manager was dismissive and told us to make a complaint on Google. The manager failed to recognize how he left a server to handle a whole dining room himself with no help that compromised the service their customers nor acknowledge the less than acceptable food leaving the kitchen (a member of our party ordered a burger with a chicken breast on it and when the burger arrived, the chicken breast was a quarter of the size it was supposed to be). We advised the manager none of us would be returning to the restaurant...advised the manager his work ethic should match his server who busted his butt to try and...
