I am a frequent buyer of KFC. I love the taste but more than that I feel valued as a customer by KFC . If a complaint is made they take an effort to check into the matter, respond as well as make necessary changes.
#Now let me come to this place which is located on 34 Ave after the Calgary trail road. The customer care is horrible. The staff are unapologetic as my order was placed this Saturday at 3.08 pm . It was a mobile order. The app kept telling it's frying for 30 minutes. So my husband went inside to ask what was happening but the manager a very impolite and rude . She made fun of my husband in front of her emplyees and told him no order was made . He showed them his mobile confirmation which was made half an hour ago. Finally they agreed but told him only now they received the order.
It was truly embarrassing for us as we already paid for the meal . The manager is only an employee and has to learn to be polite at least. We buy food from a fast food restaurant as we don't have time to sit leisurely in a restaurant. So if KFC tells us the meal should be ready at a certain time we expect it to be so . Delay was the main issue but to top it we were insulted. That's a shame on such a well known fast food chain. The chicken were health consciously slim too and Luke warm to touch.
We were just relieved to get out of that place. When we asked for the lady managers name the other staff would not reveal her name . The manager did not wear a name tag on her uniform. I would not recommend this place especially after reading the reviews of other customers who have had a similar bad experience with this...

It started off poorly as it was extremely late (more than double the quoted time - 90 minutes vs. 40 minutes; understandable when they're busy, but an accurate estimate would've solved that). Then the driver didn't deliver the entire order. Then the store argues with us over whether or not the driver delivered the order because in their own words, "They gave the entire order to him." They asked to call us back. When they do, it turns out that the location had NOT given the driver the entire order. Only there are now no drivers available to delivery the missing items ($40 worth of items in a $60 order). The driver cannot return to the restaurant until 4 PM and then the order will be delivered after that, which will be an additional 40+ minutes I'm sure. We are offered a paltry "free 2L Pepsi" as compensation. We don't drink Pepsi and if we wanted it, we would've ordered it to begin with. But that is the only thing the manager is willing to offer, so after receiving such terrible service and being argued with and then told our food will not arrive for many more HOURS, we receive no compensation. We are extremely disappointed with the quality of service and customer support and will make sure to never place an order here again. At this point, we don't even care what the food tastes like - it cannot make up for how headache-inducing this has been. What an awful experience.
Update We have received the entire order now, including duplicates of the items that were originally received. At least we don't have to cook for a few...
Read moreI went to this KFC today and asked the cashier for a 4 piece combo and said i had the coupon on my phone. She said rudely to put it on the desk and that it was expired. Mind you that they are downloadable and free. I told her that she can just punch it in her screen as they know the code (they do this at al KFC's) and she got mad and told me to step aside and yelled next. I stood my ground, insisting that the coupons are the same, downloaded the newest one and it was the same price. I told her I was gonna do a complaint as I realized it was the same person that had messed up my Uber eats order and sent my order to someone else, and vice versa. She said she did not care. At that point I told her I was done with her and to go and she told me to go. I still ate there but wanted to post this as she is the manager and is very rude. With all the competition out there, she should entice customers to eat there, and instead she decides to argue with someone that is bringing her business (there were 3 of us and we ordered and extra take out order) and make things difficult, when she should be taking care of customers. I don't argue with someone just for the fun of it, as I worked in the industry myself, but that is not the way to keep customers wanting to go to support your business.
