Be careful to ensure they don't mischarge you! Their menu doesn't have the correct prices for everything, and it isn't clear how much things cost. I went to buy two cookies ($2 each) and a pop ($2) and they tried to charge me $9.75 ($4 for the pop, $4 for one of the cookies, and $1.75 for the other one).
Their macaroons are ok ($1.75) but their M&M cookies ($4) are WAY overpriced. Their menu says pop is $2, but they tried to charge $4 for a "Grizzly Paw" brand pop - their menu only mentions a price for pop, no "premium" pop price. I could understand if their premium goods were like $0.50 more, but paying DOUBLE is just stupid. Would NOT recommend this rip-off joint. It's hard to justify buying from small businesses when they make pricing unclear and try to sneak in higher prices for unsuspecting customers. Dishonest, unethical, and illegal. Would NOT buy here again.
TO THE BUSINESS: If you can't make your prices transparent (and fair) to your customers, you don't deserve to be in business! Also, you are legally REQUIRED to offer your goods at the lowest visible price. Perrier was the only soft drink listed at $4. Pop was listed at $2. If you're offering craft pops, you MUST either offer them at the $2 price listed for pop, or list a price specific to the brand/style. You can't use the listed price for Perrier to justify charging the same amount for...
Read moreI love this little hidden gem in Oliver. The staff are helpful, warm, and great with customer service. I really can't stress this enough, when I went the staff were amazing like a small town vibe where the barista knew everyone's name, their order, and friendly without being robotic. I got a mocha and tuxedo cookie while I was there. Their mocha is like many other indie/small cafe mochas-not the overly sweet offerings from Starbucks or Second Cup, more of a focus on the espresso, so if you have a bit of a sweet tooth maybe skip on this or add extra sweetener 😀. The tuxedo cookie was divine, dipped in chocolate with salt layered in between the cookie and coating. I would definitely make an effort to return back when...

I was so happy when this new café opened up in my neighbourhood. It's open Monday to Friday and offers a quaint space for a morning coffee with delicious pastries. You must absolutely try the jalapeño, ham and cheese scone. A perfect balance of cheese, spice and bread. Yum!
Today I went in and asked for a London Fog. It wasn't on the menu but the owner said, "Sure, I can make that for you." No ums and ahs. Just amazing customer service.
They only have a few tables but I have been able to get one every time I've gone in. And, they have now picnic tables outside to enjoy the nice summer weather (not so great when...
