Beyond Temptation is an absolute gem that has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The ambiance is perfect—chic yet cozy, with just the right amount of lighting to create an intimate dining experience. The decor is tastefully done, and the background music is subtle enough to allow for easy conversation.

Now, onto the food—simply outstanding! Every dish we tried was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. I highly recommend the Garlic Dosa, which was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Gobi Manchurian was also a standout, with a perfect balance of spices and textures. It’s clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft.

The service was impeccable—attentive but not intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The timing of each course was spot-on, and the staff were genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring we had a great experience.

To top it all off, the dessert menu is not to be missed. We indulged in the Mango Mastani and it was the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal.

Overall, Beyond Temptation exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or just a great place to enjoy a meal, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu....

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it was a major letdown. I ordered chili potatoes, Manchurian, vada pav, and dosa, hoping for a satisfying meal, but every dish was a disappointment.

The chili potatoes were the first to go wrong—they were nothing more than soggy fries with absolutely no seasoning or spice. They lacked any of the flavor or crunch you’d expect, making them bland and unappetizing. The Manchurian wasn’t any better; it was so excessively salty that it was nearly impossible to eat without drowning it out with water. It was clear that the balance of flavors was completely off.

The vada pav was particularly disappointing. The potato filling tasted off, as if it wasn’t fresh, and had a strange, unpleasant flavor that made it difficult to eat. It didn’t have the usual comforting taste that vada pav should have, and I found myself questioning whether it was even safe to consume.

As for the dosa, it was another disaster. Instead of the crispy, golden dosa you’d expect, what I received was a greasy, fried mess that was far from appetizing. To make matters worse, instead of the traditional sambhar, they served a poorly made aloo sabzi, which was completely out of place and tasted terrible.

Overall, the food was far from fresh, overly greasy, and completely lacked the flavors that should make these dishes enjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—the entire experience was a waste of money and left me thoroughly...

BEWRE OF THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. This is very typical of Indian restaurants asking their friends and acquaintances to write a 5 star review even if they have never dined in their restaurants. Only way to find out is visiting or ordering takeout/delivery. I learned it the hard way on 10th of July 2024. I ordered Paneer Ghotala and Garlic Nan. I am not a big eater but I never had any restaurants ever sending a portion like what they did. All the pictures were taken right after I opened the order. Very little Paneer dish, Nan was bought bulk from the local grocery store and brushed with garlic butter. 2 hamburger buns were sent with the order and they look like bulk packaged from Walmart. Never felt so ripped off ordering from any Indian restaurants in Halifax this bad. Ever. I had bad experiences and i didn’t go back to them as there are more options now when it comes to Indian food but this place takes the trophy for ripping off customers the worst possible way. I had to take something out of my freezer for dinner. By the way I am Indian too. If you operate a restaurant only to make money, you will never serve real authentic food.
