Sweet Hereafter Cheesecakery — Restaurant in Halifax

I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Sweet Hereafter Cheesecakery! I went in two days prior to my daughters 21st birthday and as she is a vegan, was looking for a cake that would be suitable for the occasion. The staff were very helpful and had a wide variety of flavours to choose from. I chose strawberry vanilla as I felt that is a flavour most of the family would like. I was given the option of two sizes and based on the number of people, I chose the bigger 9" and was told it would already be pre-cut, which was nice since we would be dining out.

On the day of pickup, I went in and the cake was ready to go and off I went straight to the birthday dinner. My daughter was super impressed that I had found a vegan cheesecake and not only that, she and the guests though the cake was so delicious and very more-ish! If you want a vegan cheesecake that tastes just as good as a regular cheescake, this shop is your golden ticket!...

With upwards of 90 different flavours on rotation, the cheesecake options here feel endless. They have perfect flavour combinations as well as often unique ways of combining them into each cheesecake.

The decor was wild and fantastic and romantic and elegant all at the same time.

My wife and I order 3 slices, the Key Lime, the Blueberry Lemon and the Mocha. They were so decadent, we shared one slice at home that night and the split each in half and could only get through half a slice each, each day. One of my co-workers goes on and on about this place - its out of our way and my husband doesn't really like dessert so we've never been.

However, last week, that same co-worker was celebrating a milestone anniversary at work so naturally getting him a cheesecake seemed like the proper thing to do.

We purchased a lemon meringue cheesecake and not only was it beautiful, but everyone raved about it. The crust is not soggy and is a perfect compliment to the tartness of the cheesecake. One thing I don't like is when cheesecake is dense and heavy. Theirs was neither. It was perfectly light and it really was enjoyed by everyone that ate some!
