I do lots of traveling, and have stayed in Hamilton for a year now going to this McDonald's almost once a week. If there was one closer I would go to it, because this is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Everytime you go into the drive-thru they have you pull up to their secondary waiting line. Sometimes they have 8 cars waiting in parking spots for their food to be made, to the point you can't even exit the parking lot because it's blocked by all the cars.
They always screw the order up, making me go inside to have them fix it. The manager there should be ashamed, and if I was McDonald's I would investigate this location as it provides terrible service and the quality of food is terrible two.
What bothers me most, is when I order a bacon McMuffin and sometimes it's $3 cheaper. I know this is because they enter it as a sausage McMuffin substitute for bacon which makes it cheaper. But they do not do this by default you have to ask for it, and when you asked for it they challenge you. Every time I ask for it, I almost feel like they get mad comma because when they put bacon on it's two of the smallest burnt little crispy Bacon's you can imagine, almost as if they went to the bottom of the bucket and scooped up all the oilly crusty bacon they can find.

Read moreHorrible customer service at this location always has been. I opt for placing my order at the machine in an attempt to avoid the staff. Today I stopped by for breakfast, ordered a sausage McMuffin combo and 1 burrito. The combo was fine but the burrito was warm at the top and literally ice cold in the middle. Approached the front desk and asked if I could have a new burrito. The staff turned to (supervisor, manager, team lead I’m not sure blue shirt) and told her about the complain, she rolled her eyes at me and said okay and walked away.
No im sorry about that let’s make it right, I’ll be right back with a hot one NOTHING. I was polite, courteous with both the team member and the “blue shirt” but after being treated like that I just turned around and walked out.
Thinking in my head I just paid money for that, I turned around to get her name, one team member refused to give it to me and then another approached and said “which one” I replied the supervisor manager whoever’s in the blue shirt and I was informed her name is Michaela (could be spelled incorrectly) but Michaela needs to be retrained on customer service skills, it’s not my fault you sent out an ice cold burrito what a joke !

Read moreIf possible, do not come to this location! The staff here is really incompetent. I tried to use my couple today. One guy told me to scan the code at one of the cashier machine and I did. Then he told me that machine is not working, so he told me to scan on another machine. I tried, but the app said the code has been used. He asked his manager, a young girl to help him. The girl just said they can't fix this without even trying. Basically, she told me this was my problem now and I have lost my coupon. Her attitude was like, this was my fault, not their mistake. The customer should just take the lose. After I insisted they find a solution for their mistake, she finally found a code for the same coupon. As a manager, she didn't take responsibility for their mistake and tried to get the customer to take the lose. After my order is ready, they didn't even put them in the paper bag. When I asked for a bag, she said there is not enough "takeout/delivery" bag in a very upsetting tone. I asked there is no other bag? Then she threw me a to-go order paper bag. I have to put the food in the bag myself, while my 7 years old daughter holding the grocery bags for me. This is just...
