Nabil Middle East Fast Food — Restaurant in Hamilton

nabil's has been around since 2001, and i used to go to nabil's from time to time, when i worked at the nearby mall, back in 2009-2011. there is free parking in the plaza where nabil's is located, as well, paid parking along side streets if necessary.

nabil's distinction imo is their offering of grilled kabobs and takka's, along with their shawarma meats.

the store inside, is clean, spacious and tidy. you can watch tv while you are waiting for your order, or you can eat in (at the time of this review, limited eat-in was allowed by the ontario government due to covid.)

i ordered a mix (beef/chicken), jumbo (kabob and chicken takka) and a shish kebob (beef skewer) pita wrap. all-in, $32.75

-all 3 wraps were very delicious, just right amount of garlic and hot sauce., vegetables were fresh, as was the pita bread. wraps were labelled to indicate each flavor, and packaged with aluminum foil. -be advised, the wraps are not closed/sealed, they are folded and wrapped with a pita bread wrap. i would not recommend eating them in the car. -best value for content and size was the mix pita wrap. -jumbo is not big. you are paying extra for the meat content. the chicken takka and kabob was excellent. -the kabob and jumbo meats, taste like a bbq the way they are grilled. very tasty!

-they do accept phone-in orders, i recommend such if you want to plan your time, and if you know what you want. orders can take time to fulfill when it gets moderate/very busy. -they do accept cash AND debit pay. for many years, it was cash-only. -one star knocked off for the website. i suggest they update the menu online to reflect what is actually offered in the store. no pricing provided, as well, no phone number to call.

other things to know: -the wraps are a bit pricey given you get only three vegetable toppings, compared to other places. if you are really hungry, go for the mix or beef or chicken shawarma wrap, as this is the best bang for the buck. the kabob and takka's are good, but not as much content, as they are premium meats.

bottom line: i would put nabil's in my rotation of middle east food places. i would recommend nabil's to others as...

Today I went to this restaurant to eat but first I used restroom to wash my hand, I asked the lady if they serve soup which is she replied yes, I realized I forgot both my wallet and phone in my vehicle, so i went to go and grab em from my car , but surprisingly the lady came out after me in angry manner just to call me I'm rude because I only want to use their restroom not ordering food, when I turn round and hear that while other ppl was onlook I couldn't believe it that there's ppl like her existing yet working in restaurant, so I came home and called to talk to the manager but it was a lady who answered the phone and telling me there'snt such thing here as a manager, what u want? I told her u are very rude and I'm going to flag u guys on website, she replied with laughter and told we don't care go ahead, again I can't believe such a place exist with the name of business, I wondering if they really have restaurant license, because these kind of ppl with their attitude shouldn't allow run any business never mind restaurant, I'm so regretting that I had ate in this...

I was looking to get dinner for a party of 5 in Hamilton and visited Nabil based on Suresh Doss’ recommendation. Nabil Middle East Food is totally worth a visit. I would say it was the best middle eastern food Ive had in Hamilton. We ordered Combo 4 which has a variety of meats, rice, pita and garlic sauce. We also got salad on the side. I appreciated how they kept the crispy pita out of the salad until served. Food portions are generous and very delicious. Loved their home made hot sauce.
