Starbucks — Restaurant in Kelowna

I ordered mobile and waited 10 + mins before my drink got made...apparently people who came into store after me got their order before I did. Not impressed.

The above review was 3 yrs ago roughly however i do occasionally visit as I have family in town and when there is something to say I will. I visited yesterday and happened on a situation while waiting for my order where an elderly gentleman using a walker wanted to use the washroom facility, I'm guessing he was walking by and needed the facility so he came inside and I had come in when he was arguing with 2 employees that the washroom is for paying customers. Then came in the day Mgr or supervisor not sure and she also explained to the elderly gentleman that it was for paying customers, after further arguing and him saying "do you want me to pee my pants" she let him use the washroom...after he came out she was standing and waiting for him and he threw some coins on the counter. He had trouble opening the door because of the walker and his obvious anger over the whole situation so I pushed the wheelchair access for him so he could leave without further frustration from trying to open the door. It's a sad day, when you come across a situation where an elderly person needs to use the washroom facility and is told it's for paying customers. I'm personally disappointed by this starbucks and their employees here that day. Wait until it comes their time to be old and get disrespected and...

Went for a little breakfast this morning. I have ordered a multigrain muffin with cream cheese + an other English muffin + hot chocolate. I asked everything to eat there. I finally got my bagel like I receive my main plate on a plane. A big "do it yourself" with no plate, no real cutlery in a small doggy bag. Finally, what's the difference by choosing to eat here or to go ? I asked for a plate, the staff went to look and came back saying all is dirty now and he will need to wash one for me. Seing it was such a big mission for him and seing he really wanted to give me this premium service (sarcasm), i finally said "it's ok!".

To make a difference with you main competitor Tim Horton, for the half of the price, they put the cream cheese on your bagel and serve it on a plate when you asked for here. Ho, and they do this with a smile also! There's an easy improvement to make here to get your customers want to come again.

P.s: I could have waited long time for my other sandwich (English muffin) but I went back to the counter to ask what happened with this one, and the staff finally found it laid on the counter around the toaster in a "to go" bag started to get the ambiance temperature.

Your staff like working there ? Maybe it's a cause. I don't know. You should run a survey and do some team building activities to bring back their smile and habit of doing good customer...

Only reason why I'm giving two stars is because I've only visited this location once. Orderd my drink, cashier was lovely. I watched the barista making a drink that looked like it might be mine but there is multiple ppl waiting on drinks, plus mobile orders, so it must not be mine as mine is called for almond milk and I saw him put 2%, then whip cream, ok def not mine, I asked for no whip. Then he slides the drink over & calls my name. Echem, ok, let me check the sticker, maybe it was punched in incorrectly, nope. It literally says almond milk and no whip. So I brought the mistake to his attention, and I was dumbfounded at his response. "Oh yeah, I forgot the almond milk, I can just scoop off the whip cream from on the top. Is that ok?".... Huh? There is also whip on the bottom as well.... I explained to him that gassed whip cream gives me extreme gastrointestinal upset and I despise the taste of cow milk. He did remake the drink, but of course very shoddily, it was so watered down. I'm still confused as to why an employee would think that a patron paying an additional charge for almond milk and asks for no whip would be satisfied taking a drink without the milk they paid for and the whip they very clearly didn't want. I might give this location a second chance, but it will be quite a while...
