As much as I love the food here, I had 2 back to back negative experiences. The first time, I got food poisoning and received a credit to come back again. I tried to use my credit at the same Heartland location and had the worst experience. As soon as the girl at the front counter found out I had a credit to use, she became aggressive and rude towards me. Her attitude was highly uncalled for especially since I was using a credit to rectify an issue I had the previous visit.
I brought up my name and phone number as requested in the restaurant email to me and mentioned I have a credit to use. Right away the girl changed her attitude and said she didn't know how to process the credit and asked me to use the credit next time. I responded by telling her I am here today because of the credit and I wanted to use it for this transaction. I had to suggest she ask someone to help her and she said she needed 5 minutes. I told her okay then she left the restaurant to go next door to heart sushi (I was told heart sushi owns blue colada and the Manager works there). The girl came back after learning the process and tried to apply the credit but said her screen was stuck and again asked me to use the credit next time. I declined her ask and she told me I can come around and look at the screen to see it was stuck. I don't know why she suggested that because I don't work there and I don't need to see her technical issue. I asked her to find another way and she asked me "how"? It's not my responsibility to problem solve for her. She said she needed 10 minutes again which I found an excessive amount of time given how long I had already waited but said ok. She tried using another computer and after asking me 4 times for my number, she said she didn't see any points. I corrected her and told her I never said I have points, I said I have a credit. She wasn't able to find it and I told her I have an email that says to mention my name and phone number. She held her fingers up like it was a gun and said I never told her I have an email which is correct but I was following direction which only said to say my name and phone number. She said "show it to me" and the phone rang so she answered it leaving our conversation abruptly. She could have asked nicely and used the word "please". She did not have any manners and was aggressively rude for absolutely no reason aside from me having a credit to use which she took personally. She took a photo of the email on my phone and finally (30 minutes after my food was ready) began to charge me the difference from the credit to the remainder on the bill. She used her straight face and gave a fake "have a nice day" and I asked for the receipt from the printer and she said rudely "I am going to give it to you". If she wasn't done our conversation, she wouldn't have tried to send me away with a fake well wish for my day. I had enough at this point and told her she can be nicer. She then proceeded to tell me "no, you can be nice, you're rude, it's busy here today" as she held up more fingers like a gun while giving attitude once again. There was 1 person behind me and 2 tables of people sitting down. I don't find that to be busy and it is also irrelevant in her attitude towards me. I am completely shocked at the aggression, attitude, lack of customer service, and calling me rude when I was nothing but calm. If there are video cameras, everything I have said can be backed up by the restaurant.
After getting food poisoning during the initial visit which I was given the credit, I believe she was the same individual who called me and asked me not to write a Google review because she said it will hurt the business and the cooks will get yelled at. Asking a customer to refrain from voicing their opinion is unprofessional. The name on my receipt says "Ann" and I did not appreciate her showing more concern over a google review than my health in the first incident and her negative, aggressive, rude behavior was highly unprofessional and uncalled for the second time. It's individuals like this who...

First, the place is tiny! It felt like a fast food resturant. We went to celebrate a birthday, there were 10 of us and there was beraly enough space to fit us all. I thought okay, maybe the food is really good..boy was I mistaken.
We bought a $100 sharing meal, that was recommended by waitress. It wasn't nearly enough to feed 5 people. We were all starving and they kept bringing out one thing at a time. Like the sausage , for example, that had maybe 6 pieces per serving and there were 10 of us! Next they brought out the calamari, again 5 or 6 pieces, that consisted mostly of batter and oil, nothing like the pictures. They only brought a tiny bit of mayo for dipping sauce with each appetizer and that was the only sauce they had. The seafood that they brought out in the bag HAD NO SAUCE. There was sauce in the bag but not on the actual food. One person got the fish and rice and that was also mostly batter and oil which led her to feed sick after. Lastly, the " king crab" they brought out looked good at first, it looked like a whole crab ,like in the pictures, but when you lift the top, it was just a hallow shell.
The service was slow and the waitress seemed new and was not friendly or accommodating. A few times I had to go up to get salt and pepper and remind her to bring things we asked for.
Lastly , I had let them know a head of time that i will be needing a highchair and they did provide it but it was filthy. I don't think it was ever cleaned. There was only one other couple there so I know they had time to clean it.
Just an overall bad experience. Definitely do not go here if you are celebrating something. All my guests left hungry and disappointed!
P.s The one thing we did like was the chicken and...
