I recently tried the Bihari Chaska pizza from Pizza K and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience.
This particular pizza caught my attention due to its unique combination of flavors, promising a spicy twist on the traditional pizza.
Firstly, I must admit that the Bihari Chaska pizza lived up to its name in terms of spiciness. The heat level was definitely intense, and if you are a fan of fiery flavors, this pizza will surely satisfy your taste buds. The toppings consisted of flavorful and well-marinated Bihari beef, along with a generous amount of onions and green chilies, which added an extra kick. The pizza itself had a thin and crispy crust, which complemented the spiciness of the toppings quite well.
However, one aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the price. Considering it was a 12-inch pizza, I found it to be a bit on the expensive side. While the taste was undeniably good, it would have been nice to have a more varied selection of toppings included in the price to justify the cost.
Another point worth mentioning is that this pizza shop only offers take-out service, meaning there are no sitting arrangements available. This may not be ideal for those seeking a dine-in experience or a place to enjoy their pizza immediately. However, if you're looking to grab a quick meal on the go or enjoy the pizza in the comfort of your own home, this won't be a major issue.
In conclusion, if you are a spice lover and willing to overlook the slightly higher price for a 12-inch pizza, the Bihari Chaska pizza from this gourmet pizza shop is worth a try. The intense spiciness of the toppings combined with the thin and crispy crust make for a flavorful pizza experience.
Just keep in mind that you'll need to plan accordingly since there is no seating available, making this establishment more suitable for...
Read moreEdit2: Went back yesterday after a couple of months, and the issues seem to have been fixed in the pizza. I do still have a lingering suspicion that they have changed their cheese suppliers, but its hard to say without knowing about their operations. The white sauce recipe is definitely changed from before and for the worse, but at least the pizzas are back to being baked right. I will return again. I hope they can return back to the original white sauce recipe and not this oilier and sweeter version that they have now.
Edit1: Updating this review. After regularly having their pizza for a couple of years, which was always very good, they seem to have changed something recently. Is it the cheese? The dough? the baking process? It's hard to say as someone sitting not he outside, but the last 2 - 3 times have been disappointing. The white sauce is far oilier as well. If Pizza K is reading this, I hope they can move back to their original recipes and suppliers because this subtle change in taste will drive away older customers like me (if it hasn't already).
The pizza reminded me of the best days of pizza hut in Karachi but with a spicy twist. Folks, if you've had good pizza in Pakistan that has that local touch, you know what I am talking about. If you want that feeling again and that same great feeling of soft bread all cheesed up with nice spicy toppings then try their mirchisauga pizza. You won't be disappoint. I came all the way from Hamilton and wasn't disappointed. The dough was nice and soft with plenty of flavorful toppings and the right amount of spice that left just enough heat lingering to make you want more but not burn the mouth. I recommend it folks,...
Read moreI 100% recommend that you try their menu items. And I don't say that often, a business has to really score some serious points to impress me. They serve halal. Karachi Style Pizza as the name suggests brings the fusion pizzas taste from Pakistan metro city Karachi. At first glance at their menu it made me smile, I like how they name their menu items that bring back memories of Karachi khada market the one of many hubs of such menu items in Pakistan. I noticed that their price is a bit on the higher side for the size of the pizzas i.e. 12" BUT I quickly understood why. Look at the pics I have posted of the two pizzas and you will see that they really load up the pizzas with the toppings close to how I load it up at my own home baked pizzas. That loaded up topping along with the awesome taste makes up for the pricing because it's truly more than what I currently would get from other halal pizza joints in the GTA even on a 14" priced equally to their 12 inch. We tried their "Mirchissauga" and "Gosht khor (translates to Meat lovers/eaters) " both were great but the Goshtkhor was hands down a must try for anyone who loves meat. The pasta named Malai Alfredo reminded us of the Pak Towers where we used to enjoy similar taste. It's spicy and crafted well with taste and baked with cheese and creamy white sauce (just wish there was more sauce). Overall I highly recommend this place for taste and yes the Karachi taste. To the owner please bring the Karachi Halwa Puri nashta taste as well, everyone here sells the lahori version which is...
