If you are looking to come to a restaurant where you are NOT serviced and you don't enjoy food then please come to CRAVEABLES! So I ordered a beef burger because the menu detailed it so nicely. Firstly, everyone on my table got their order except me. After waiting patiently for 10-15 minutes I asked where it was and thats when the staff said oh you didn't get it yet and brought out a cold burger and cold fries for me. Upon seeing it I was not happy as it looked completely unappetizing. It was literally one of those thin frozen patties you get from store. There were no caramelized onions as advertised and it was completely cold so it had that bad beef smell. Upon taking my first bite, I called the staff and told them that this is not what was advertised on the menu,it's cold and there's a bad smell and I would not like to eat it. He took it back and said you can order something else. I sat their for the entire time and no one came to take my order. No one came to apologize. They completely ignored me. The staff had a smug smile and kept walking past me but no one came back. They even stood in front of me against the wall talking to each other but no one came and asked if I was ready to have a meal. Mind you, I was with an infant and literally came out to eat my first meal of the day. At the end when the staff came to give the bill to the rest of my friends we told him no one came to ask me for my order or to check up on if I was ready. He smuggly responded "you did not call me and a normal restaurant would never take your food back you should be happy I even took it back." I asked to speak to the manager because what kind of rude response was that and he said there is no manager or supervisor here. I told him it's a shame that this is how your customer service is and if he has ever been to ANY decent restaurant then not only would they take my food back but they would make sure that I was happy with my meal and my visit to their restaurant. I walked out without eating because I will NOT be giving any business to this establishment and will be passing on my experience to others. Read moreI did not have a positive experience at this restaurant recently. I was part of a larger group, so I understand there is heightened pressure on the staff. I was not rude, but my experience needs to be noted. Because of all these factors I will not be returning.
Food: Mediocre. The turkey bacon is more like smoke flavoured warmed deli meat. It was unpleasant. Potatoes were under seasoned and tasted a bit cardboard-y, like they had been sitting for a while before being served. "Spicy Hollandaise" was bland. Food was overpriced for quality and flavour.
Service: Even though we were a larger group, our food was served over 25 minutes until everyone in our group was served. I did not find that suitable when we had pre-booked the tables. We asked for water for the table, and the carafes they brought to the table were covered in residue. I also didn't like that the water was not cold. Water was never refilled for the table even though we were all drinking it.
Payment: Because we were a large group (but paying separately), I clarified before I paid that a gratuity was added for our group (I had read on the menu that it was). Our server confirmed that yes, because our group size that tip was added. When I paid for my family, I did not add an additional tip and when the server saw my bill he said loudly enough for the entire table to hear that I had not included a tip. I was embarrassed, and it wasn't necessary to comment on when he confirmed in advance that a gratuity was added. When things were not brought to our table that were ordered and it was time for payment, the server said he couldn't remove them from the bill.
Atmosphere: The cafe desperately needs sound dampening. The cafe is incredibly loud and has that same overwhelming sound like an indoor swimming pool. It was not sensory friendly and could do with a significant improvement.

Read moreI have been here a couple of times before, I will say the food is good but my god the service is spotty at best. Third time here and this has to be one of the worst experiences I have had service wise (anywhere ever). I would also like to preface this by saying I almost never leave reviews. This experience was that bad.
My partner and I were seated at 10:56 with our orders being taken a few mins later. We were given our drinks within a few mins. Then we proceeded to wait until 11:40 with no word on what was happening with our food. (Partner says she saw what looked like them confused with what looked like her order in the back). At that point I decided we will just ask for the bill and pay for our drinks only and leave. To this point nobody came to us since we got our drinks, and this took another couple mins of waving down. When our server finally came we told her how long we had waited and said we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave, not even asking to complain to manager. However she kept trying to make us stay for the food saying it was only going to be a couple more mins?
I don’t understand how it could possibly still be getting prepared. One of the dishes was just eggs in yogurt. We had to indicate to her 3 times minimum that we just wanted to pay for our drinks we did consume and leave. An hour in a restaurant to be served just drinks. Also they didn’t even brother trying to apologize.
