My recent order from Gong Cha was an absolute delight for my taste buds. Renowned for their commitment to freshly prepared premium tea and innovative bubble tea concoctions, this establishment truly lives up to its reputation.

The Pearl Milk Tea, their flagship drink, was a true masterpiece. The pearls were flawlessly cooked – chewy and subtly sweet, adding a delightful texture to the creamy and perfectly balanced milk tea. The tea itself was brewed to perfection, offering a rich and satisfying flavor that made each sip a pure indulgence.

Additionally, the Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea with Coffee Jelly, a personal favorite, was a remarkable fusion of flavors. Update again: Not sure why the company is trying to gaslight me into thinking I didn't get food poisoned. Temperature is not the only factor that impacts food poisoning, and a simple glance at the company's lower star reviews immediately shows similar dissatisfied comments about the brown sugar milk tea. Maybe the reason their reply is silly is because they replied at 12 am?? 12 am is the end of the day so maybe they were overcome with stress and fatigue. Also, this review is a PSA.

UPDATE: I will not be purchasing drinks here again. Yesterday night, I ordered a brown sugar milk tea, and it was a male barista. He was initially very friendly, then after he saw my "No tip" selection, his entire personality just changed, and he took like ten minutes to make my order. This morning, I woke up to symptoms food poisoning. That drink was the only new thing in my diet yesterday so I know for sure it was the drink. Very disappointed, customers should not have to tip to receive a safe drink.

my original comment: (I’ve only met two cashiers here but they both offered good customer service! I wish this location was an enclosed area because it feels kinda imposter-like to sit in a condo building that you do not live in to order a drink lol. Took off one star because the employees do not ask if you have the rewards app - would be nice to get a reminder like in other well-known cafes. Also took off a star bc for some reason, every drink I've tried here has had a very weird aftertaste? I have not been nauseous after boba at any other boba company except this one. For your health, do your research on their ingredients...

I am a huge fan of Gong Cha drinks, still waiting for a location in Richmond Hill though! We decided to visit Kariya Park on a weekend and it so happened that the soft serve flavour they had that week was Vietnamese Coffee & Coconut. HUGE fan of both flavours so I was super excited to give this one a try. This location Gong Cha in Sauga is located a very short distance from Kariya Park which is nice, because you can grab a drink or your ice cream and head over to the park. Small little shop thats nicely decorated and bright. I think because Gong Cha just recently started offering soft serve so the staff was a little untrained and confused. I ordered the [Soft serve swirl with Egg Waffles] I have seen on instagram that there is a pour over coffee that comes with the soft serve, however I did not receive that with my order, so I mentioned it to the employee and she seemed confused until another employee came and grabbed me a shot of the pour over coffee. The combination of both coffee and coconut is just perfect! You can taste the strong coffee like you normally would with Vietnamese Coffee but with the mix of condense milk and the coconut it gave it a perfect balance of bold strong coffee flavour and sweet creaminess. Really hope its a flavour they would keep forever.
