I went with both my daughters (6 years old and 4 year old ), both wanted sprinkles on their ice-cream. When the kids asked the server, she rudely responded by saying “It’s too late, you should’ve asked for ice-cream with sprinkles.” So, the girls were extremely sad when they saw that there were sprinkles in front of the cashier. I asked her politely if she could add some on the ice cream, even if it wasn’t a lot. She responded to me in a rude manner in front of the kids “It’s you the mom, you have to command them. They can’t do whatever they want.” I was shocked by her attitude and the kids as well. When I politely asked her to try to be nicer with the kids, she said it was “not necessary to be nice with kids and customers.” I asked her name or the name of the manager. She refused to give me them and still continued to talk in an aggressive manner. She made me feel as if she didn’t want to serve me just because I was wearing a hijab. I hope that the managers of the store pay attention to these types of cashiers who can make them lose clients, because personally, I’ve made the decision to never come to this store again and I’ve even told the people that I know to...
Read moreThe Laura Secord Dynasty has been known to me for as long as I have been alive. Religiously my family has purchased the Easter eggs and thoroughly enjoyed them. Recently though their product has changed lately and we had problems with the egg yolk Easter egg. I am reading this particular location because I cannot find a way to rate head office. I wrote head office to advise him that they need to change the paper on the Easter egg because once you cut into it the inside filling adheres and makes it hard to eat. Well they thank me for my feedback they did nothing to compensate me for the product that I currently had. There are far superior chocolatiers available now to the public and this lack of customer service and care is the reason why this business will eventually fail. It is sad to see a canadian-based company go from a reputable chain to one who seems to care very little for the consumers who keep it in business. First Superior Service and product at other chocolatiers readily available even within the same Mall as this particular location. So sorry to leave a negative review but my business...
Read moreThere used to be a Laura Secord at Square One which was literally across the street from me but this has been closed. I drove to the Erin Mills location because I wanted to purchase a pint of the Superkid. It was worth the drive!! This is my favourite ice cream flavour and no other ice cream shop can replicate this. The lady serving the ice cream was so sweet and friendly (wish I caught her name, she was a brunette working on a Saturday afternoon on Feb 17th), just fantastic customer service. Thanks so much for the quick chat and for making it a pleasant experience!!
Update on June 31, 2025
I called Laura Secord to confirm if there was Superkid available before driving out of my way and the sweetest lady answered the phone. I arrived at the store, and she recognized my voice from the phone and she was the same lady who helped me last time. Her name is Kim and she is so lovely. Thanks for the chat, Kim and thank you for making my day!! I hope Laura Secord never gets rid of Superkid, it is the best ice...
