Tory Burch — Local services in Mississauga

I purchased in April 2024 my first to Tori Burch items from Matthew at square one mall in Mississauga. The earrings were beautiful they only cost $100 and they were studs but the post of the stud broke off after wearing them three times I had never bought a luxury item and had the post break off in fact I had never bought studs and the post of the earring broke off I was so shocked when I went back and explain to Matthew he was more than accommodating understanding allowed me to exchange and pay the difference for a new pair of earrings and I have not had issues with them although I have only wore them once. I also purchased a beautiful pair of slip on sneakers which I on the Tory Birch website for only $100 but that was in an American dollars and they do not have the same pricing here in Canada and the website does not ship to Canadians so Matthew explained to me the same ladybug silver slip on sneaker which is reminiscent of Gwen Stefani‘s platform slip on metallic Lamb sneakers back in the early 00‘s at Brown’s and or to be my luxury sneaker that would replace a pair of Michael Kors slip on platform black sneakers that I had purchased from Brown’s in 2017 and never had any issues with in fact I’m sad that Michael Kors did not re-issue and create these beautiful amazing sneakers they did but they’re not the platform ones so the silver ones were only worn maybe once a month because of the price point being over $200 I’d rather wear Nike or other kids if I am to be doing errands these were only worn when I would go out to a restaurant the back of the shoe began to separate from the soul and the soul is quite well-made I was shocked to see there was a space and I did not use my foot to takeoff my shoes as I sit down put them back in the duster bag and the box I will be addressing this issue with Matthew as I did call Tory Burch head office in the US to communicate about these sneakers What is the superior sales person he has patience professionalism charm and he really represents the Tory Burch brand beautifully he works with another woman during the day and she is very kind. I really was shocked about what happened with the silver sneakers so I will have to go back to square one communicate to Matthew because of the issue being at a Canadian Tory Burch and not from the website they will not help me with this issue in an online capacity driving in Mississauga from Richmond Hill is quite the schlep don’t ask driving is such a strange animal in the year 2024 I could never have predicted how stressful expensive inconvenient and unenjoyable or highways are here in Ontario they just make me sad because a person should not have to stress to drive to Mississauga from Richmond Hill and if I could afford over $200 sneakers you think I could afford the 407, however I can only afford to take it one way and that’s actually a treat for me let me tell you to have anything nowadays just work out simply is a blessing so if you are to buy luxury enjoy it if it works out for you and there’s no issues consider it a beautiful miracle but I would say nothing but good things about Matthew and how beautiful that Tory Burch store is I only hope that there isn’t an issue with me exchanging my sneakers for another pair because I absolutely adore them and I never expected the back of them to separate after wearing them...

I recently purchased a dress from Tory Burch and unfortunately had to return it within the 30-day window. My encounter with the associate named Mathieu left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the level of customer service provided.

Upon trying to return the dress, Mathieu was rude and dismissive right from the start. He seemed disinterested in assisting me and accused me of wearing the dress, which never happened. It was clear that he had already formed a negative assumption about me, without giving me a fair chance to explain the situation.

The manner in which Mathieu treated me was unprofessional and uncalled for. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. Instead, I was met with hostility and an unwarranted accusation.

While I understand that return policies can be stringent, there is no excuse for poor customer service. As a loyal customer of Tory Burch, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and made me question whether I want to continue supporting the brand.

I hope that Tory Burch takes this review seriously and addresses the issue with their associate training and customer service standards. No one should be subjected to such treatment when simply trying to make a return. It is my sincere hope that future customers have a more positive experience than mine.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Tory Burch based on my recent encounter with Mathieu. I advise potential customers to be cautious and to keep in mind that exceptional customer service should be a priority for any reputable brand.

Tory Burch is a well known American designer who has designs that focus on bright American Sportswear and also a lot of trendy bright handbags or shoes to match.

Before Tory landed it's own stores in Canada, I often saw them in Holt Renfrew where it had circular golden emblem sit on bags and loafers. Though most designs are modern, it does have a bit of a retro vibe. The stores are exactly like her brand. Golden accents frame up the bold colours of emeralds and rubies on the pieces. Sometimes you'll spot a cutesy saying on a bag or a cat face on an item.

Most days the store is a calm spot but during the winter sales... watch out for the older ladies just swarming the store because of the 50% off everything sale. Service here is mostly solid where they have 3 people trying to help people find sizes or pull items for a closer look.

I find the style not quite mine but it's all very wearable with easy tunics, simple flowy pieces, or a figure skimming sheath. The prices are above the average piece but I do find the material quality much nicer. Fit and finish is a step up and if you do find something you like, it's an easy nice wear.

I do have to mention that the sizing is not as forgiving if you're petite. What was described as figure skimming and above the knees... well, it went a good inch below and perhaps almost 2 inches too big in other spots. Maybe I'm just not cut out for the same as most...
