I’ve been a regular at Aylwin BBQ for years and let me tell you, the quality has always been tip-top, every single visit. Consistency like this is rare, and they never disappoint.

Just this morning, at 10:30 AM, I grabbed their cheeseburger for breakfast, and wow! It absolutely hit the spot! Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and smoky in all the right ways. That’s the kind of food that makes you smile and sets the tone for your whole day.

What sets Aylwin apart is not just the flavors, but the craftsmanship. They use a Yoder smoker, one of the best smokers out there, and you can really taste the difference in every bite.

Although I am a regular at one of the other food stalls, I decided to deviate from my norm and come here for a barbecue brisket sandwich, and I'm glad I did. I've always been dubious about barbecue served in Montreal as most of it is second rate. However, Alwin was an exception.

The brisket sandwich was a generous portion of beautifully prepared barbecue brisket served on a Kaiser bun. The construction of the sandwich was absolutely perfect and well deserving of many return trips.

The cucumber in buttermilk salad was a true surprise and I would just consider ordering four of these just for lunch.
