Absolutely love this spot! Bah! Café on Marie-Anne is the real deal for anyone craving authentic Brazilian flavor and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Let’s talk about the coffee—seriously, it’s top-notch. They source their beans from Minas Gerais, and you can taste the difference in every sip. I’ve tried my fair share of coffee around the world, and this ranks right up there with the best.
But the real stars of the show? The Brazilian pastries. The pão de queijo is next-level—light, cheesy, and so fresh, some say it’s even better than what you’d find in Brazil. Honestly, choosing what to eat is a delightful struggle—everything looks and tastes amazing.
The place is bright, cozy, and packed with positive energy. Big windows, friendly staff, and a vibe that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re looking for a spot to work, catch up with friends, or just treat yourself, Bah! Café delivers.
If you’re in Montreal and haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Highly recommend for coffee lovers, pastry enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates a little slice of Brazil in the heart...
Read moreI have been on the hunt for some of the Brazilian foods I tried when I visited there in the spring, especially pao de queijo. When a friend sent me the link to this place I got so excited. Finally I found a place where I could get pao de queijo!
My visit here did not disappoint. I did indeed get my pao de queijo and they were sublime. They serve them warm so each bite is a mouthful of cheesy bliss. The iced latté I ordered with it was also pretty tasty. If I hadn't been so full I would have ordered some of their Brazilian sweets, which all looked so tempting. I'll just have to make another visit I guess. 😀
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. On the day of my visit it was grey and rainy outside. Being inside the café made me feel like I was in a welcoming refuge. They also have some nice outdoor seating for when the weather is nicer.
It makes me so happy to have discovered a Brazilian café because good Brazilian food is hard to come by in Montreal. Now I know where to come for when I have a craving for pao de queijo. I'll also be back though to give there...
Read moreWe were very excited to visit this Brazilian coffee place since our Brazilian friends were raving about it during their visit to Montreal, but it was actually quite disappointing given the price of our bill. The pão de queijo in the bowls were super oily, the chicken pie was very dry and just didn’t taste good, and the coconut cake in the foil was a bit dry (moist if you compare to a regular cake but nothing like the Brazilian bolo gelado wrapped in foil). The corn cake was, however, incredible. To be fair, we went there on a weekday expecting sandwiches like we had seen on Google Maps, which they don’t serve during weekdays, so we settled for what they had available. The service wasn’t really welcoming or friendly, the person behind the cashier barely greeted us. I think all in all, they could use some improvement. Most of the bad reviews I’ve seen here are answered by “we are sorry you feel this way” and nothing else, which sounds condescending lol You guys are Brazilians, you can do better...
