So... I came here 3 times, and honestly... it's sad. The wait times take way too long, only for the pancakes to taste average at most. Sometimes, the pancakes are awfully deflated, too. On top of that, they seem to spam their sauce too much.

I appreciate the efforts they take to ensure that everything is good, but for the time you take to prepare orders and the quality... I expected a little better.

On top of that, the pancakes are expensive. It can range from 12-19$ excluding taxes. (Depending on what you get)

I came here during opening and a month after that. I can understand that the opening was busy but I'm disappointed by my experience even a month later. It wasn't busy, but I had hoped it would be better.

Here are my opinions on the menu that I had tried previously:

Matcha Tiramisu: Honestly overhyped. I'm not sure if it is because mine had way too much sauce, but there was so much sauce that it overwhelmed the pancakes entirely. Moreover, the pancakes were not really fluffy. It just didn't taste right. I had a lot of hope for this, too, since I'm a Matcha and Tiramisu lover. This also comes with Matcha sauce and ice cream on the side, but the sauce on the pancake was already too much so it was too much when i tried it with the matcha sauce. 3/5

Signature: It's perfect. The taste is wonderful and honestly melted in my mouth. They provide maple syrup as well to add as well. 5/5

Tiramisu: Very nice! It doesn't feel overwhelming, and it compliments the pancake well. 4/5

Strawberry: One of my favorites! It is a little sweet, but the sauce and the pancake go well together! It is perfect if you like something fruity and sweet. 5/5

Raspberry Caramelized: The sauce and the caramelized bananas were nice. My only issue is that the pancakes were... a little stiff again like the Matcha Tiramisu I had. 3/5

Creme Brulée: Very nice! I had it twice and both times didn't disappoint! One of them was a little more deflated then the other, but it wasn't stiff, so that's alright! It was still fluffy, so I didn't mind too much. It also comes with some caramelized bananas and ice cream on the side! 5/5

Blueberry Cheese: Like the Matcha Tiramisu, this was the same. The sauce was overwhelming as it's literally too much, and the pancakes were a little stiff. It comes with ice cream and orange slices on the side... but honestly, it just looked like a complete mess rather than a dessert. Despite this, I do recommend eating it together with the ice cream as it helped a lot and tasted a little better. 3/5

Drinks: Very nice, not much to comment on.

Basque Cheesecake: Good, not much to comment on.

Price overall.... it's really expensive. Especially the Cheesecake. For 1 Cheesecake slice, it's 7$ and it's barely the size of a palm. For a whole, it's around 20-23$ depending on the flavor. Honestly, it's not worth the price for the quality and...

This morning we went to have late breakfast (I've been wanting to go here for months), the lady in the cash was super nice but all the experience after, was just horrible. All the people that arrived after us, they were getting their food delivered by their robot. They have a sign saying that it could take between 25 to 30 minutes for the pancakes, but after 45 minutes of waiting I decided to go and ask what was happening. The guy cooking told me that our order was the next one (it was weird because it should've been processed before, but OK) I went back to the table and nothing happened, when 1 HOUR had passed, we gathered our things because it was getting ridiculous, we went again and the same guy said that it was almost finished, another guy looked at our ticket and I could see that he was confused (he knew it was not normal) so he apologized and told us that it usually takes time, but that our order was processed with priority. We asked them to put our food to go, but he kept on apologizing asking us to stay and insisted that it was their priority. Please, we understand that sometimes it might take longer, etc, but you could have approached our table at least once and just say that, that it was taking longer than expected, but nothing! and please DON'T LIE and say that our order was treated as a priority when we could see that you lost our order and you were just preparing everyone else's food but ours and you started preparing our food when I approached after 45 minutes (you have an open kitchen, we could see that). Please, SAY THE TRUTH and work on your customer service. Nothing was offered to us to compensate (it is part of the customer service). The food was excellent, just the service was terrible and everyone lied. My one star in Service goes directly to the lady...

Honestly, my expectations were high as I had been to Fuwa Fuwa Toronto, just so mesmerized with the whole experience of having these souffle pancakes. Really looking forward to those pancakes in Montreal, the whole experience didn't go as expected and was pretty disappointing.

We were told at the time of ordering that there is a 45 min to an hour wait, which was a buzz kill, but that's fine understandable they had just gotten over with a big rush as mentioned by the cashier. I also ordered 2 pancakes and a drink, for which they charged me (drink) $7 pretax when the price on the menu was $6, and when I asked, the manager returned the difference. Didn't understand why there was a discrepancy.

Once we got our pancakes, they felt very flat. They didn't taste how we remembered them to be in fact, there was an eggy after taste. There was nothing special as if it was missing something. The drink I ordered was a chocolate frappe which was just ice, I had to go to the manager and ask her to make it again. Which she kindly did, and it tasted 1000 times better.

As far the store goes- I did feel there were too many people behind that counter, and no one was properly managed. Like they all were doing their own thing. Genuinely felt a leader was missing there. I could just look at them and tell them the issues. If there are systems set in place and they are more organized, I am 1000 % sure they have the capability to do so much better.

(This was the most surprising part for me) It's funny enough to say, when they are opening a new store in a new place. They decided two have two kitchen aid mixers to make the pancake batter, which was so surprising that one person was just making the batter continuously as they were running out of it so quickly because...

I’ve been following Fuwa Fuwa Pancakes on social media and was really excited to finally try their famous pancakes. They mentioned they’re open until 2 AM, so I thought I could drop by later in the evening. Unfortunately, when I arrived around 7 PM, they were already sold out! It’s really frustrating that they don’t update their social media to let people know when they’re out of stock. I wasn’t the only one there who wasted time coming over expecting them to be open. If you’re going to promote your business on social media, at least keep your customers informed so we don’t have to deal with the disappointment. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for. Update: I had high expectations for Fuwa Fuwa Pancakes, but my experience was beyond disappointing. From the moment the plates arrived, I was already put off. The dishes were filthy—smeared with oil and covered in visible handprints, making me question the hygiene standards of the establishment. We ordered the matcha red bean pancakes, and the reality was a far cry from the beautifully presented image on the menu. What we received was a sad, lumpy mess that looked hastily thrown together. Worse still, the pancakes were undercooked, with a gooey, batter-like center that was inedible. Considering the premium price they charge, the quality was unacceptable. Fuwa Fuwa Pancakes may look appealing online, but in reality, it was a total letdown. I won’t be returning.
