Omg where do I begin!? This was like entering a fairy tale. So many places at Montreal said they were dog friendly or had vegan food but when we went there they would say they meant small dogs or that those vegan menus on reviews were old! So this was like fairytale to enter Mandy’s that is genuinely dog-friendly and vegan-friendly!

Absolutely loved the ambience! I was wondering why I never visited the Toronto Mandy’s yet! It was BEAUTIFUL! Thoughtfully made. And everyone treated my dog so good and she enjoyed all the attention 🐶

One thing that I never understood in North American restaurants is they never serve water first thing. Mandy’s was perfect that way. ASA we settled in our table, not only did they serve me water but also my doggo! The staff were so polite. You order and pay before you take the table which imo is a good thing.

They had plenty of vegan options which was heart warming! I had a delicious bowl of hot lentil soup which was like a toned down version of the Indian channa curry! It was delicious.

If I had to rate all the spots we checked out in Montreal, Mandy’s would be my number one! I can’t wait to take my dog to the...

I recently visited Mandy's and was captivated by the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant. The trendy decor and cozy ambiance create a delightful dining experience. However, I didn't personally have a meal there, but I did sample a salad that my friend ordered, and it was absolutely delicious.

The salad was fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavors. The ingredients were of high quality, and the presentation was impeccable. Mandy's certainly knows how to create a satisfying and tasty salad that leaves you wanting more.

However, I must admit that I found the prices to be quite steep. Paying $40 for a beer and a salad felt excessive, considering the portion size and the overall value for money. While I understand that quality ingredients and a pleasant atmosphere come at a cost, it would be great to see more reasonable pricing or additional value in the offerings.

Despite the price concern, Mandy's undoubtedly has a lot to offer in terms of taste and ambiance. The attention to detail in their dishes is commendable, and the restaurant provides a pleasant setting for a casual meal or a gathering...

Salad was fine but couldn't taste the dressing unfortunately.

However, I think service what was really let this place down. Waited 20 mins for a coffee. Politely asked if it was on its way after about 15 mins as was a third of way through my salad. No sorry given, just a curt response that they were backed up. When it came it was a black coffee instead of the white I'd ordered. I asked for milk and waitress just looked nonplussed and like I was making her life difficult on purpose. Milk took minutes more to arrive and I wasn't given a spoon to stir it in. Coffee tasted like coffee flavoured water.

Sorry to moan as I know businesses are under pressure, staff are busy and I have no idea what other battles they're fighting but come on Mandy's, this is surely why it's important to get super basic customer service and attention to detail right, and not make customers feel like they're deliberately winding you up when all they're asking for is what they ordered. A quick and gracious "really sorry, we're so busy" and then a "here's your milk, apologies again and enjoy your lunch" is all...

This place has been recommended so I was happy to finally try it for myself. The restaurant is located in the old port so street or lot parking only. The decor is lovely and the patio is a great attraction for the summer. The place gets really busy so there may be lineups to order and for a seat. I ordered the Asian salad and my friend the Clean Green. To be honest, they're good, but nothing special. They get the dressing ratio and mixing correct. The portions are generous, but it's mostly made up of leafy greens (and ramen crumbles in my case). There was little of the other ingredients, which is what disappointed me. The marinated tofu was dry and bland. They also got my friend's order wrong by giving her tofu instead of tuna. She didn't feel like lining up and waiting again because she was famished. Maybe it's because I make my own salads on a regular basis, but I don't see how these are the best salads ever.
