It MAY have been because we went on a Sunday and they order everything on a Monday...but they were out of pretty much everything we wanted to order. That said, you'd think that the remaining stuff would at least be cooked with some sort of love, respect, or care for the food.

We got a "free salad" (like a few others have commented), but the lettuce was limp and the tomato and cucumber were cut into huge chunks. It would have taken 5 seconds to prepare. The dressing was quite obviously something out of a plastic squeeze bottle that had a logo on it...definitely not made in house. And if it was, then the chef likely worked at the Kraft/Heinz factory prior to this place.

We ordered couscous and vegetables. Both showed ZERO effort or personality. My wife and I have been to Morocco. I've learned how to cook Moroccan food from locals, and I'm by no means an expert. That said, I could have easily prepared something that I would be proud to serve, unlike the flavourless couscous (not too difficult to add a touch of sumac, some lemon juice, and/or coriander maybe?) and a broth full of boiled, hastily cut veggies that probably took less effort than the salad. We could see the ends of the not fresh, even though they're in season) zucchini. I don't mind if the carrots are peeled or not...but at least wash them well first. And, y'know, you could cut them to fit into a mouth that doesn't only belong to Mick Jagger.

The meal probably cost a grand total of $1.50 to make (labour included)...so the $46 bill was a bit of a shock. I get it: there are real estate costs, electricity, water, etc. But you aren't going to cover those if the food is thrown together by someone who ostensibly just learned what a pot does.

I assume they could do better (I mean, it couldn't get much worse). That said, I'm not going to go back to see if they will.

P.S. I don't mind having to bring in my own bottle of wine -- as long as there are other drink (hard or soft) options....

I will share my experience in both sides Negative experience they forgot twice to bring what I've ordered, in that case we do not appreciate the service and we don't give tips. Also, it is unappropriate to say to the costumer ,at the cashier, plus forceing him to pay tips by saying quote " we are in North America and Canada , espicaly in Montreal we give a minimum tip of 10C$-15C$" assuming that the customer is not Canadian or living in Canada. Don't judge people from thier outlook. Tips we give in the GTA here for good, extra special services or as generousity from the costumer.

Postive experience When I asked, are kids allowed here ! The waiter said yes we are a restaurant of course they are welcome. Also, the food was tasty and good. I enjoyed eating...

Neighborhood is packed, hard to find parking but owner have area to park but its located a block from the restaurant. One of his staff accompanied us to the parking. Food are delicious however you can tell that it was cooked in advance and its no longer fresh compared to a newly cooked food. Place is old and needs improvement. This place has a potential but need to improve things that I had mentioned. But I found the owner is kind hearted person, we've got a chance to chat with him for awhile because the place was not busy ... but I can see people order for take out delivery.

I am so glad we chose this restaurant for a relaxing family lunch. The owner Noureddine was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a large, filling meal with cucumber & tomato salad, assorted olives, pastilla au poule, vegetable soup, lamb tagine, kofta meatballs, couscous, chicken over rice, and then topped it off with tea, coffee & dates. Wow! Each dish was better than the last. All the meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh & well-cooked, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The environment is warm and relaxed. I wish we lived in the area so we could come again and again.

Authentic Maroccan Cuisine. What an amazing discovery! It is bring your own wine/beer, which I love. They also have delivery. We were a party of three who shared 2 entrées (Chicken & Almond Pastilla and Garlic Snails) and a Royal Coucous. It was so delicious! We ordered too much, but couldn’t praise enough the cook for the amazing amount of flavor contained in every plate! Their home bread is also excellent. The service was quick and courteous. We will be back.
