We came to this resturant last weekend with a big group of friends for the first time and had an AMAZING experience with the food and the server. Our server was probably the best server I have ever had and I left him a $35 tip thats not including what the rest of the group gave him. Today we went back and we were the only table in the entire restaurant. The food was amazing yet again, but our server was not great. She came back once to ask how our food was shortly after we received the meals. When she came our water glasses were empty and they stayed empty until the very end of our meal when we asked to pay our bill. However while they were empty she was able to fill her own glass at the bar and drink it. As well as have multiple conversations with her coworkers. When we paid I tipped her $5. I used to be a server and I'm a huge believer in tipping based off the service, not because "I have to" however I didn't want to be rude and leave her nothing as the food was still great (thanks to the cooks). It is not my job to pay your salary. When she walked away she VERY OBVIOUSLY shook her head. Then proceeded to cut infront of us when we were leaving the restaurant and VERY OBVIOUSLY shook her head again clearly intentionally for us to see to the point my boyfriend audibly laughed in shock. This was thee most obnoxious and unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced. I regret tipping her anything at this point. You had one table in the whole restaurant. Do better. You should be grateful I even gave you a tip out of generosity....
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Jasper on its very first day, and what an experience it was! Despite the challenges the town is currently facing, this place offered a bright spot of positivity.
The decor immediately stands outâstunning and meticulously designed. The ambiance created by the combination of cozy lighting, tasteful artwork, and thoughtful layout sets the perfect mood. Every detail feels carefully curated to make you feel right in Jasper!
As for the service, it was impeccable. Even on their opening day, the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. You could tell they were excited to be part of something special, and their enthusiasm was contagious. It made for a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
Now, onto the foodâsimply divine! Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The chefs clearly know their craft, and it's obvious that the menu was designed with passion and care. From appetizers to desserts, each bite was a treat.
The overall vibe of the restaurant was lively and heartwarming. It felt like a true community hub, bringing people together during a difficult time. In these trying circumstances, it was refreshing to find a place that provided not just great food but a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere.
Highly recommended, and I canât...
Read moreJasper's finest. By that, I primarily mean the staff, however I can safely say this place is top notch in every metric.
The decor is high-end rustic, lots of dark wood grain against an elegant black background. Ambience, lighting, music, acoustics are all within a comfortable level. One need never tell to be heard or squint through the dim light to see across the room. Bathrooms are roomy, easily accessible, and private. The food. Is. Amazing. No notes at all. There is a wide array of beers, wines, cocktails, and spirits available. One can order a flight of top quality whiskeys to enhance the dining experience. Also, the Maligne Range includes a quieter upper level where one can relax, work remotely, or just enjoy the atmosphere with a fine meal and drink, as well as a beautiful, picturesque balcony to be available during the warmer seasons. Of course the lifeblood of this establishment is the staff. Everyone here is exceptionally gracious, helpful, and warm.
No doubt the Maligne Range is the must-see of Jasper's already excellent roster of...
