me and my 2 friends had a terrible experience. today (august 24th) around 3:00 pm we came in for dinner and our experience started off good, we where sat quickly but it immediately turned around when we where served our waters and one of us accidentally bumped one and it spilt on the table and over our other friend, we immediately began apologizing to our server and offered help cleaning up but she rudely scoffed and seemed super annoyed about cleaning it up, which of course, nobody wants to clean up spilt water but the way she acted made us feel completely uncomfortable. we felt really bad and continued to apologize and say thank you but there was no response from her. she came back and rudely dropped off a huge stack of napkins. i saw her then go into the back and it was very clear she said something about us to another coworker, she was saying the f-word to her and i could tell it was directed at us. which again made us feel extremely uncomfortable. she then came back and took our food order, which was 3 burgers and it took close to a hour to come out and when it did it was cold. we where debating on asking them to reheat it for us but we had no opportunity because she never came by to the table. when she was at the table next to us i asked her if she could refill my friends drink, which she did. it was then time to pay, when it came time there was not much conversation but because of our experience we unfortunately did not tip a lot. as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry i personally would not expect to get a good tip after making my table feel so uncomfortable like that. when she saw our tip she stormed off and said “thanks for supporting me.” in a rudely sarcastic way and immediately left. i did not catch our servers name but it just left a bad taste in our mouth, she had long brown hair and we where sitting in the section on the left side of the restaurant. i do not think this reflects the entire restaurant but unfortunately when there is a server like this it makes people not...

TL;DR: Great food, service, and drinks! It was worth the price. Highly recommend doing the beer samplers. But, they did call the wrong number when it was our time to be sat. They did remedy it quickly!

Server: our server was awesome. She was polite, fast, personable, and helped us with everything.

Food: I had the hummus appy and the Jerry burger with sweet pots. Both were awesome. The burger was a tad dry, but nothing to complain about. I'd give it 8/10. The hummus platter was amazing, 10/10.

Drinks: I had their beer sampler, and I subbed the rockhopper and the stout for their two seasonals. Every drink was awesome. The blueberry was surprisingly my favourite! They key lime seasonal was super interesting too. I even ended up buying a growler.

Cleanliness: we ate outside and did not go in. From what we saw, it was very clean. They were on top of sanitizing.

Price point: prices are average but fair. I actually expected it to be more because Jasper is a tourist hot-spot. The beer sampler, burger meal (I had the more expensive one), half an app, and a growler came to about 70 before tip. My partner had a halloumi bowl, half the app,y and pint, and it came to shy of 30. We really enjoyed the experience and felt that the price was fair.

Only issue: we did have a small issue with our wait. They said it would be 40 minutes for an outside table. They never called. I went to ask after an hour and they explained that they called and I never answered. I showed them my recent calls, and they tried again and it rang. I assume they dialed the wrong number because she wrote it wrong when she first took it and then wrote the correct one over it. However, they sat us as their next table and it was fine. We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It took 15–20 minutes before our waitress (wearing a light blue t-shirt and jeans) came to take our order, and from the start, she was noticeably less friendly toward us compared to how she treated white customers. We're not sure if it was because we're Asian, but it certainly felt that way. When we said we didn’t want any drinks (since we all had to drive and most options were alcoholic), she sarcastically asked, “So you guys don’t want to order anything?” — which felt rude and unwelcoming. We ended up ordering 4 mains and 1 appetizer, but she didn’t repeat the order or give us time to finish when a dish was sold out. One of us had to change his order, but she just walked off before he could do so. We had to flag her down again 10 minutes later just to finish ordering. The food came out slowly — the last dish arrived 35 minutes later — and overall it was average. The honey garlic wings were the only highlight. The worst part was the service. The waitress was unfriendly, dismissive, and hard to get help from. She often looked annoyed when we asked questions and didn’t make any effort to be polite or attentive.
