The food is amazing, don't get me wrong. My mom and I went for dinner last night and the service was just awful. We were sat beside a family with screaming and crying children, which the parents were trying their best and is not their fault. They could have sat us anywhere else in the restaurant, which was not full at the time.
We then waited 15 minutes before the waitress came to our table to get us drinks and she didn't even take our food order she said she would come back to do so. In this time, a table that was seated after us was already served drinks and appetizers. The drinks took about 10 minutes to arrive (it was just a coke and lemonade). Then she came back to take our food order which was taken on a phone, not very professional. It appeared that she was struggling to input the order on this device.
After waiting 45 minutes our food finally showed up. The waitress never once came over to apologize for the wait or anything. Once it arrived, I had asked for my burger well done with no pink inside and the burger was pink. At this point I didn't even want to send it back because I was so hungry who knows how long that would have taken.
She checked on our table once, but we were sitting for over 15 minutes after finishing our food before she came to take the dishes and bring us the bill. She kept walking right by our table not even looking in our direction. We were sat by the door and it was quite cold. It wasn't until we both had our jackets on that she came over and we asked for take out containers and the bill. She came with those and then we left.
The food was good but it was unfortunate that the service was bad. The other waitresses seemed to be fine handling their tables, which were much larger than ours. There was an uber driver who had come in and waited about 20 minutes before he was given his food, and he asked two staff members for the food.

Read more(Original post July 2020 ...Great burgers!). (New Rating as of July 2021 After being locked down for a year+ now we finally got to head out for a burger and a beer today. Unfortunately the burger came out raw in the centre. The beer I wanted was not available. The waitress was not familiar with the menu at all. To top it all off there was the original beer I asked for added to the final bill! 🤔 Overall a negative experience today unfortunately. This new rating is to bring attention to the owner/manager and or staff who may read this. Please I know we have all been through a lot this past year but what we received is truly not fair considering we paid and still fully tipped $65.00 for two burgers, a beer and an ice tea!). We don't like to complain to management when things go wrong because they stereotypically think people are being cheap/looking for compensation. Not the case with us. If a good restaurant knows they messed up, the least they do is offer some kind of compensation automatically and have the manager come out and apologize. Neither happened today. That's ok. We make choices as to where to spend our future dollars, unfortunately your establishment will be off our list for a while. Maybe it means nothing to you but both myself and my wife operate small local businesses and we know what customer service is about. We will be sure to share this experience with everyone we know.
