I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjabi Chaap Corner, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food – each dish bursting with authentic flavors that truly captured the essence of Punjabi cuisine. The extensive menu offered a delightful array of options, and every item I tried was a culinary masterpiece.
What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by Deepika, the server/cashier. Her warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch to the dining experience. She was not only efficient but also genuinely passionate about ensuring customers had a memorable time.
The cleanliness and hygiene of the washrooms were noteworthy, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to maintaining high standards. The inviting ambiance created a comfortable setting for enjoying the meal, and the well-curated music added to the overall atmosphere.
From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, Punjabi Chaap Corner left a lasting impression. It's a testament to the dedication of the staff and the establishment's commitment to delivering a top-notch dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Punjabi flavors served with a side of excellent service and a welcoming ambiance.

Read moreI was more than delighted to find that there is a vegetarian Indian place so close to where I live. After several visits to the restaurant, I finally decided to give my opinion about the various offerings they have. My favorite item to get here are the chaap rolls. They have the best value for money and if you know what flavor to pick, the best taste. My personal favorites are malai chaap roll, amritsari chaap roll and chur chur chaap roll. Pudina chaap is a close contender. I don’t like dry food so when they add ample sauce to the chaap, I highly appreciate it. I have also tried Peri peri chaap and chatpata chaap and thought they were just ok.
I have also tried the tandoori momos and kurkure momos and felt like they could be a little more cooked and would benefit from the mayo on the side rather than on top of them which takes away the crunchiness. Their bhel puri is also ok and would also benefit from retaining its crunchiness a bit.
My favorite main curry is Chaap Rogan Josh. As a lifetime vegetarian, I actually don’t know what to compare it to but I thought it was a very interesting and unique flavor. I also tried their veg mutton gravy which was not too impressive and their paneer butter masala which was just ok. Their pani puri combo is interesting and is worth a try if you want to taste some new pani (water) flavors.
I like their Gulab (Rose) halwa and although it’s a small portion, I can never eat it all by myself as it is too sweet for my palette. I have gotten it a couple times though to share with friends. Finally, my friends die for their Guava juice so if you have the space for it, definitely order it...
Read moreIt’s first time we visited this place. As appetizers we ordered chaat papri, tandoori momos and malai paneer tikka. Chaat papri and momos were good and that’s it. Malai paneer tikka - the paneer was dry and there was no flavour. Malai was watery and felt like we had panner in some watery gravy. So blank flavour. We decided to go with thali that comes with daal makhani, shahi paneer and masala chaap and kulcha. This thali is the worst we ever had. Daal was so watery and there were no lentils in it , shahi panner no flavour and again dry paneer. Worst of this is the kulcha they gave was like you just heated up a frozen one. Asked the person and came to know that they only make roti and naan at that place and they use kulcha from some bakery. Kulcha was not fluffy or soft. We spent around $100. The service is not great either. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Have been to chaap place in gta and they are good. Here the food tasted not fresh and no flavours. Surprisingly they don’t serve water and if u you dine in they give you paper plates only. Please go to rajdhani sweets instead if in...
