I’m going to start off with addressing the reviews less then 5 stars. I noticed a lot of people have had an issue with sogginess, or crust being too thin or too thick. I give props to the owner for reaching out and doing what they can to make the experience a better one. Reviews are huge in this day and age and I believe reviews can make or break a business. I have so far ordered two of their flash sales. Both times shared with my mom and stepdad. The wings were delicious, I feel it was fairly priced, 2 lbs of wings and a 12 slice, it was $39.97 with the cup and char + tip. My second visit was another flash sale. 24-slice Tray with 3toppings for $25.73 with cup and char +tip. I would say the prices are competitive if you get the flash sales, or specials. I have yet to order off the regular menu.
Both times the crust was perfect, nice and crunchy! The consistency of the dough. As someone who cooks, yes the middle pieces were softer and needed some extra support when grabbing a slice, But that’s because they were loaded with sauce cheese and toppings. Can safely say the dough was fully cooked with a crisp texture. I would say it was perfect 10/10 on the round 12 slice and the 24slice tray. Even better the second day warmed in the toaster oven.

So far I have only really dealt with one cashier. The gentleman who handles the register seems to always be in a good mood and customer driven. The female who answers the phone is very polite with a friendly welcoming tone.
It has been a very pleasant experience both times through.
I give the staff a 5 star for friendliness and their customer driven approach I give their pizza and wings a 5 star, for freshness, consistency, and portion, loaded with toppings. I’m a huge canadian fan -pepperoni, mushroom, bacon. The toppings were evenly distributed!

Read moreWe have been loyal customers of The Pizzeria for quite some time. We have always loved their food and recommended them to friends, but after tonight’s experience we can no longer support a business with such poor customer service practices.
We placed our order through their in-house app (Dine Local), drove across town to pick it up, and only realized once we got home that we had been given the wrong order. The receipt even had our name and phone number on it, but a completely different order written down.
When we called to report the issue, things went downhill fast. We had to call four times, and the woman who answered never once apologized. Instead, she repeatedly muted the line without saying a word, leaving us wondering if we had been disconnected. When we asked to speak to a manager because the solutions being offered were unreasonable, we were hung up on.
The staff insisted we would have to drive back across town and “show them” the wrong order to get a refund, even though it was clearly their mistake and we offered to send photos as proof. The lack of accountability and professionalism was shocking.
After forty-five frustrating minutes, the owner finally took the call. He was the only one who offered an apology and agreed to refund the order. While we appreciate that, the damage was already done. This entire situation left a very sour taste in our mouths.
A paying customer should never be treated this way. We are deeply disappointed and will no longer be ordering from The Pizzeria or recommending...

$80 later….whenmy husband brought home ( 14 people I voted and this was the main food item ), and uncovered, the two of the meat items the pizzas were charred and actually burned. ham and Italian sausage bites…pepperoni was in tact. Everyone was removing these items and some justonly ate one slice. One full tray left over….very unusual for this much pizza with 14 people to be not eaten.
I called today ( the next day ) and explained to two different people the situation, and our experience with soo many guests. I explained that these pizzas should never have been allowed to pass “ the eye test “ that is, have been given to the customer. First Gentleman said we would get a free pizza, then I was passed on to another ‘more senior gentleman’ who listened, apologized etc…and offered us a ‘discount on next order’, not a free pizza as the first one had said ! !
NO THANKYOU, for poor product to be given to customer, poor customer service with two different options given to me on the phone.
Next time, better to stick to pizza at home or as my son says….best pizzas are in WELLAND, and worth the 20...
