My partner and I traveled all the way from the UK to visit family in Canada, and this Kerala restaurant was high on our list. Having tried countless Indian restaurants back home, we were really looking forward to something that felt authentic and this place exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience spoke volumes about the quality and care that goes into the experience here. The space felt warm, welcoming, and well-maintained just the right mix of class and comfort.
We ordered a variety of dishes; Mandhi, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, Paneer, Chapathi, Chicken Biriyani, and I had the Kizhiporotta Chicken. Every single dish was packed with rich, authentic flavors and felt like home-cooked food. It was honestly some of the best Indian food we’ve had in a very long time flavorful, balanced, and made with love.
Special shoutout to the staff member who was working yesterday (I wish we had gotten your name!) your patience, grace, and professionalism were so impressive. You managed the floor, took orders, and served with such calmness and a smile, even though the restaurant was busy. You truly made our dining experience exceptional.
We also got a chance to speak with the chef, who was incredibly friendly and humble. It's clear that a lot of heart and soul goes into the food. And not to forget the little surprise the robot assistant helping with serving food! What a fun and efficient addition!
This restaurant doesn’t just serve food it delivers a heartfelt experience. If you’re in Canada and craving authentic Kerala cuisine, you must try this place at least once. I promise, you'll be going back again and again.
All the very best to the entire team you’ve created something truly special. We’ll definitely be back next time...
Read moreMy recent visit to Kerala Cuisine in Niagara Falls left me with a rather disappointing experience. Despite the buzz I had heard and the positive Google reviews, my dining experience fell short of expectations. To begin with, out of the four dishes we ordered, two had to be sent back due to quality issues. The lack of differentiation between ghee rice and biryani was a noticeable concern, as both dishes should have distinct flavors and textures. The King Fish Pollichathu was a letdown, as it tasted stale and far from the fresh and flavorful dish I was hoping for. Additionally, the Noolputtu was served to us extremely cold, which is understandable to some extent given the location, but such a temperature was simply unacceptable. We refused to pay for both these dishes. Left all the dishes half eaten. What disappointed me even more was the response from the server when we raised our concerns. Instead of addressing the issues professionally, her response was, "What do I do of it now?" This lack of accountability and customer service was disheartening. Equally disheartening was the absence of any apology for the food we had to send back. Even when we expressed our dissatisfaction, the manager or supervisor simply smiled, giving the impression that they were not concerned with our unhappiness. In summary, my experience at Kerala Cuisine left me with disappointment . While I had high hopes for authentic Kerala cuisine, the quality of the dishes and the lackluster customer service left much to be desired. I hope that in the future, the restaurant can take customer feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to provide a better...
Read moreI am a food vlogger and have travelled to almost all the Indian restaurants in southern Ontario. I came to know about this restaurant from one of my friends, I've tried almost every biriyanis served here and also have tasted a few of their daily specials. I gave a call to the restaurant for reserving a table and the response through the phone was amazing, I recall that someone called Jils was on the other side, he explained most of the dishes with great enthusiasm and passion, he was not frustrated after I kept on asking him the details of each and every meal they had. If I start a restaurant anytime in the future, the first person I'd hire will surely be him. The first dish I tried was after a server named Naveena suggested me the Afghani chicken combo, I am a person who never goes by suggestions, specially when it comes to food. But somehow she persuaded me to order the food and I don't remember eating such a dish ever in my life. She was gorgeous and possessed every skills a server should have. I'll never forget her. I heard that there are other good employees working in the hotel, one other name I heard was Kezia but haven't had a chance to experience her hospitality. The reason why I spent these couple of minutes writing a review is because along with the taste of food, another quality every restaurant should poses is the way their employees treat the guests. This is one of the main desire determining factor of the sector and "Kerala Cuisine" is a perfect blend of these and I would never miss any chance to dine here. All the best guys, it's a must...
