We recently had our wedding reception at Taps Brewing Co. with a group of 36 guests, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

The food was incredible, every single dish came out at the perfect temperature, and despite our guests ordering a variety of meals, each one was cooked to perfection. People are still talking about how delicious everything was, especially the steak, which was cooked exactly right for everyone and served warm, even with all 36 meals coming out at once.

The service was beyond impressive. Our server, Jill, was an absolute superstar. She memorized all of our drink orders without writing anything down (seriously!) and never missed a beat the entire night. Not only was she efficient and on top of everything, but she was also incredibly warm and friendly, which made the evening even more special.

We also want to give a huge shout-out to Alicia, who went above and beyond to make our day feel so personal. She handled the setup and even decorated for us at no extra cost, something that meant so much to us. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness made a big impact.

The pricing was also very reasonable for the high quality of food, drinks, and service we received. It truly felt like we got so much more than we paid for.

Me and my wife are staying in the area for my birthday and after a very long day, we decided to order takeout from here. If you want to know about the food- it was delicious, but if you want to know why I rate Tap Brewhouse 5 stars, It’s for the service.

I ordered the smash burger for myself and the vegan chicken caesar wrap for my wife via phone call, and 15 minutes later it was ready as promised. It was only after my wife bit into the wrap that she realized that it was not the vegan version. Apologetically, I walked back in and informed the bar, where the friendly staff member promptly apologized back and informed the kitchen. It was an honest mix-up with multiple variables like the comedy show that night, the packed restaurant (it was labour day), and the fact that I placed the order on the phone.

The correct order was out quick, the bartender and the supervisor were very understanding and friendly, and upon their repeated insistence, I even walked out with complimentary beer. Hands down the best service I have received in a long time.

Back to the food- it was so good that we finished it parked in front of our airbnb. 😅

To the light-haired woman who was the lead on the night if September 1st, and the dark-haired woman who was the bartender that served me- thank you. I apologize for not making note of your names, but you made my birthday getaway much better.

Taps is 100% my favorite local spot. Food is great and they are a mirco brewery that has something for everyone in the tank. Also have a great selection of other bevies. Patio is open all summer with outdoor live bands and live music indoors most nights all winter. Buy some growlers to take home their craft beers when you leave or if you missed the beer store you can buy here until 11pm. This place rocks! Aug 19, 2018 update:. Just another reason to love this place. They are #1 for customer service. Just went to refill my growlers...I'm a stout girl, Porter more often than not since they rarely have a stout in the tank. The bartender told me straight up that the porter was pouring slow and it would probably take 30 mins to fill 2 growlers and that a customer who filled one last night complained that it was flat. In a tourist town, who does that? These guys get that their winter money comes from locals and they are honest as the day is long, even without knowing I'm a local (or maybe the recognize me by now). I don't mind a stout or Porter on the flat side...the brew master happened to be sitting at the bar having a pint and personally came to chat with me to make sure I was cool with the pour and took over the porter pour, filling at least 3 pitchers to get me the best he could get from the tank. These guys are the real thing, live and love...
