My fiance and I visited for a long celebratory weekend for 2 special occasions. I left a message on my reservation about our special events and our names. When we arrived they called my fiance the wrong name. Not a huge deal but still. The first room we were given was nice your basic bed and breakfast accommodations full size possibly queen size bed TV fireplace pretty nice bathroom you know small refrigerator. The breakfast the first two days was nice (different style eggs & fruit), but by the third day and obviously the fourth day You look for something different and it was the same again not the biggest of deals we ended up going to Denny's for breakfast. After our second night there we woke up to a leaking ceiling we were then moved to a loft above the garage which was absolutely gorgeous but the bathroom was terrible. They had a tub that either didn't drain or didn't fill The whirlpools didn't work and there was no shower there was a shower head on the side of the tub that you had to extend while you're standing and hold with one hand or sit like you're some type of animal at a zoo and hold it above your head very odd. The television did not work for half of our stay something with the internet apparently also the little gazebo they mentioned where you might be able to sit at night have a cocktail if that's your thing maybe even eat outside was unavailable. If you drive a big vehicle parking can be difficult there's very limited spaces I was fortunate to be able to park on the property next to the bed and breakfast for the majority of my stay and also the hosts were kind enough to let me keep my bikes in the garage which is also very nice because it rained one day. The location's fantastic You can walk right to the Falls It's about a mile maybe even touch less The hosts were very kind and you can tell they tried very hard but I've stayed at better I've also stayed at worse so again if you're looking for something that has a wonderful location, easy peasy breakfast...
Read moreWOW! So glad we booked this gem. First time staying at a bed and breakfast in Niagara Falls and so happy we did. First of all, this place is immaculate, it's so clean and well cared for. Joyce, the hostess met us at the door and greeted my husband and I with warmth and kindness and gave us a tour and even helped carry our belongings to our room. We stayed in the Balmoral Suite, it was huge with a king size bed, mini fridge, fire place and updated bathroom. The AC was working brilliantly, I was so impressed because the outside temp was scorching hot. We were nice and cool on the third floor, sipping wine and enjoying our seating area. The BEST part of this stay is the breakfast made by their chef Ping. Best eggs benedict we've ever had. Perfectly poached eggs, crispy english muffin, canadian bacon and the Hollandaise Sauce was creamy and buttery, yum! We also were served freshly baked peach bread and a bowl of fruit. Coffee, tea, and juice! The dining room mini fridge is loaded with yougurt, pop and water and Joyce is an absoute sweetheart. Can't wait to go...
Read moreWhen we were planning a 2-day trip to Niagara Falls in Canada, we decided to try a local B&B, never having stayed in one before. What an amazingly EXCELLENT decision! Bedham Hall B&B is located in a 152 year old house. Our unit had a separate outdoor entrance, was beautifully appointed, including our own en suite bath with shower & jacuzzi, and a private deck. The furnishings were traditional like something from a decorator's magazine! The king-sized mattress was the most comfortable I've ever experienced away from home. Breakfast was in the main part of the house with the choice to share with others, or dine at separate small tables for 2. Fresh fruit, home-baked pastries, and prepared-to-order hot items were delicious and elegantly served. The exterior back gardens included luscious plantings and a trickling pond feature. It is very evident that John & Joyce take great pride in their establishment and go over and above to make guests comfortable. Highly...
