This being my first trip to Canada and although I had a car hired I still wanted to be in close proximity to the Falls etc. From the minute we arrived at Serenity Inn we were greeted by friendly welcoming faces who made us feel right at home. This house is within 15 minutes walking distance to all the major attractions and if you do it correctly it will be downhill on the way there and back. Diana who runs the house with her partner and brother could really not have done anything else for us, from breakfast in the morning where you choose the evening before what you would like (the omelette is amazing) everything is served to you in the beautiful setting of her garden. On several occasions she made us traditional dishes from her Romanian home and they were something else, these people really work their backsides off to make your stay very personal. The rooms are super clean and have a very personal touch, we stayed in the Serenity room which had 2 beds, a jacuzzi bath and even a fridge filled with snacks and soft drinks. The communal kitchen has everything you could ever need right at your fingertips. Diana who loves to bake, always has some type of baked goods sitting in the kitchen ready for you to snack on, tea and coffee are always readily available when needed and there are always snacks sitting waiting to be eaten. The guys have it a lot of time and effort into this house and this can be seen but what really made it for me was the personal touch, on several occasions within our stay we had long chats with these guys and their passion was amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and if I hadn’t had my onward journey booked I could have definitely stayed longer. If you are looking somewhere to stay in Canada which is close to everything, please give these guys a try, I promise you will not be...
Read moreLet me start by saying I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast before. When we pulled up we were greeted by Ed before we even parked and got out. Super friendly and was really amazing to show us the whole place and talk about the process of renovating it to it's current glory. We stayed in the Serenity Room. Absolutely amazing! There's no hotel I've ever stayed at that was so well decorated and so comfortable. The bed was huge with a plush buttoned bed frame behind that was a privacy mirror into the washroom tub area. The tub was enormous and has the air jets. There also is a good sized sitting room with a little fridge for refreshments. You get to pick from a really great breakfast menu which is prepared by Dianna. Let me tip my hat to the chef! The food was amazing!! So amazing in fact I ended up eating half of my girlfriend's breakfast too! Everything is fresh and tastes great! We had a special opportunity to actually sit down and talk to Dianna and Ed while we were there and you won't find to more genuine and hospitable people around! We also booked our 1 year anniversary room for two nights while we were still there! That's howich we enjoyed it! The property is huge and in the warmer months the backyard is the perfect backdrop for breakfast under the big deck and pergola. You can tell alot of time and effort have been put into this place and how it runs. If you want an amazing experience while in Niagara I highly recommend! It's a 15 minute walk to Clifton Hill also. Thank you Thank you! Dianna and Ed. Well see you at...
