My sister is currently pursuing her degree in this university. From the first day of registration to this present day, every-time we need university help they just completely ignored.
For the registration I visited at-least 3 times and then finally someone helped me, luckily I was there to help my sister but imagine someone applying from overseas, who can’t visit university in person.
Then during registration of every semester their website goes offline, there goes the wastage of time and sleep plus the option to choose the schedule of your choice and their response is always we are working our very best.
The latest event where my sister registered herself online but university sent her email that they will de-register her because she didn’t get the permission from university, while it was university who opened the portal and it was one of the faculty mistake who didn’t send my sister the document of approval even though she visited her in person. Responsibility is a word this university needs to learn and work on instead of just sending useless emails.
Everyday students has already too much stress about their daily work, assignments and much more and on top of all that they need to work on all these registration.
I want university to connect with us and let us know why they are harassing us.
My next step would be to visit university in person and if possible try to connect with Ombudsman...
Read moreI’m so happy to be part of the UNF community! I’m currently in my second term of the Digital Media and Global Communications program, and the experience has been truly enriching.
The university offers countless tools that support our professional development, and classes are innovative, interactive, and designed to prepare us for the real world.
One of the things I’ve enjoyed most is being in a diverse, multicultural environment. Sharing ideas and learning alongside people from different cultures has helped me grow and see things from new perspectives. From cultural events to social activities, there’s always something happening that makes you feel included.
The professors and staff genuinely care about your progress. It’s good to know there’s always someone ready to guide you—not just academically, but also in terms of your personal and emotional well-being.
Even though we don’t have a cafeteria on campus, UNF has partnerships with several nearby cafés and restaurants that offer special deals for students. It’s a nice way to explore the area, grab a good meal or coffee.
Looking forward to the months ahead—full of learning, fun, and growth. Big thumbs up to this beautiful journey and...
Read moreMy experience at the University of Niagara Falls, Canada, has been positive and enriching. The university offers a supportive and diverse environment, with a strong focus on innovation and real-world skills. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in student success, both academically and professionally.
What stands out most is the university’s emphasis on small class sizes, which allows for more personalized learning and meaningful discussions. The programs are thoughtfully designed, blending academic theory with practical application, particularly in fields like digital media, global communications, and technology-driven industries.
As a relatively new institution, there’s a fresh and modern approach to education here, from updated course materials to the use of cutting-edge technology on campus. The city of Niagara Falls itself also offers a beautiful backdrop for student life, with a welcoming community and lots of opportunities for cultural experiences and recreation.
Overall, I would recommend the University of Niagara Falls, Canada, to students who are looking for a forward-thinking education in an inspiring and...
