I went to this Wendy's at 11:48 pm on February 17th, 2022, and it closes at midnight. I went to order at the drive-through, and immediately, the Filipino/Asian lady said that they were closed. The funny thing is that two customers going through ahead of me were served. I said that they are supposed to be open till midnight and how come there closed almost 15 minutes early. She then replied, "We ran out of everything." I said, everything? She said, "Yup, everything." I said, "So the people who just left with their order bought everything?" She says yup. I asked how come she's like that, and she said that when they ran out of everything so they closed. I said, really? She finally says all they have is one spicy chicken patty left, and that's all. I have been to Wendy's for years, and this is the first time that someone has blatantly lied about having no food whatsoever in their restaurant and was rude to top it off. If a place is advertised to be open till midnight, then it should be open. But to tell a customer that they are sold out of everything is preposterous and downright insulting. It's just another way to get off of work early. I think people like that should not be left alone to operate a restaurant in that manner. If you don't want to do your job at Wendy's, find a different job. I guess it's back to eating at Macdonald's. Extremely poor service and a huge red flag concerning management and Wendy's restaurant chain as a whole. Plus, I see Wendy's doesn't reply to unsatisfied customers. I guess they are too good for everyone, and they can not be bothered by making customers happy. Lots of 1-star reviews, I see. Dave Thomas must be rolling in his grave right now! I'm sure the owner doesn't realize the staff closes the dine-in before 8 pm...
Read moreThis the worst most dangerous experience I ever had and as a service worker I am actually disgust. me and my sister in law ran into to use the washroom and grab some food after shopping nearby and had a cart with us which they didn't say anything about when we entered. if we were asked to not bring it in we would had just left. anyways as we eating a scary guy approached us and kept asking what in our bags if things were real and had his hand in his pocket so I called my partner lying saying he was 2 minutes away. which scary guy then rushed out the door after we looked out the windows and saw him walking around the restaurant so we moved closer to the counter thinking for safety as we were waiting for my father in law to come get us cause we felt really unsafe. we then explained to the staff the issue and as the lady was taking out an order they sent out 2 people laughing that she was scared to clearly showing the understand the dangers then. what I think was a manger came up and asked us to wait OUTSIDE with the scary guy cause we had the cart. when I got upset they said the cart had to leave. I did comply and pushed it out the door as fast as possible hoping not to draw the guy in. this beyond messed up putting 2 women in danger for no reason again if we asked not bring cart in fine but only after we said how almost attacked we asked to leave you need to train your staff about safety as they could had gotten us...
Read moreNot so great when the atmosphere is better then the food.
We should have known better from the same issue years ago.
We ordered two Junior Deluxe Cheese Burgers, one large fries and two small frosty's. The taste of stale grease on the burgers made us both sick, not to mention both burgers were cold. When we got home, my wife and I both got sick and had to rinse our mouths out with mouthwash to get rid of the greese. SHAME ON WENDY'S! They need to stop doing this to their customers.
I tried calling to speak to a manager, (three times) and the male person who answered could only speak broken English and after five minutes, he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a different person who agreed that they should drain the greese from the burgers every time. He was polite and offered us a free meal which I passed on the burgers as we will never eat another burger from Wendy's again.
I do however, recommend the frosty's and fries and was satisfied that the manager offered to compensate us with a complementary serving of those.
I honestly hope that Wendy's will stop serving greesy burgers.
Thanks to all the hard-wroking staff who we do appreciate, as working in a fast-food restaurant is not the easiest...
