Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Oakville

I haven’t ordered from Gino in a while. First I tried to order online and was in a constant loop where after creating and account etc items would not stay in the cart. Then I called the number on the website and the person said better to call the local branch as they will be able to take the specific order. He gave the number for the local store. Called the store. Ordered after two people gave each other the phone to take the order. When I went to pick up the pizza they had out an extra sauce splattered over the pizza. We didn’t ask for this sauce. And she looked as me as if I should have known that they always do this with that pizza. After we had walked through the specific toppings three times over the phone, I was just in shock. And to add to all of this, they turned the card machine to me to add a tip.

So confused how this place is still...

Stopped by on a Sunday morning for a simple one-topping pizza, something I’ve ordered many times before from this same location. Oddly, I was told they couldn’t make it this time, without much of an explanation. The staff member, Raj, remained seated the entire time and seemed completely uninterested in helping, only perking up when a friend of his walked in at which point I was ignored entirely.

When I asked for his name out of frustration, he responded with a threat that anything I wrote would "come back to me," which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. What should have been a quick, fun pizza run with my daughter turned into a disappointing and uncomfortable experience. 2nd review: Manager is super stuck up. Refused to drop a single sauce for free. I said other branches will drop a sauce or so for big orders (mine was decent). I said I guess I’ll go there next time, and he absolutely didn’t care :D said go ahead! His staff appears super afraid of him too, they call him sir :D skipping this military branch next time!

1st review. Disappointed. Made a phone order for pick up. Was told 20 mins, it took 40 mins. Staff blaming the call centre and then said they are too busy, he can't do anything about it. Why was I told 20 mins? He said he doesn't know. No one is wearing gloves. Pizza and ingredients are being handled by hand, which was really worrying and honestly put me off.
