This is a Tim's that I visit every morning because it's near the company where I work. I've been buying breakfast here for four years straight. I really love the drive though employees, they are enthusiastic, efficient and remember your dining habits. But I am very dissatisfied with the staff inside the restaurant. Over the past four years, I have seen a steady stream of new employees and more and more homeless people enjoying breakfast. But no matter how I use the take out function of the app, I can't understand its workflow. I have tried countless times, no matter you go early or late, no matter whether the staff in the store are busy or leisurely, they will not handle customers who place mobile order. Even if you are the only one standing there waiting in the store, they will still focus on the matter at hand, pretend not to see you, and not ask or greet you in any way. I really don’t understand why there is never anyone at the mobile order front desk. Even if you stand there and look for their answer with your eyes, they will choose to ignore your existence. Also, I wish the senior, white, female employee could please please stop putting your racism on your face. Based on my observations over the years, this senior staff only greeted white people and rarely smiled or said good morning to other people. More often than not, her indifference towards other races is directly reflected on her face. There are Indians, Latinos, and East Asians who work with her. I can see her disdain and dissatisfaction with her colleagues from her actions and attitude at work. She often helps colleagues quickly and bluntly. Even in brief observations every morning, I could see her impatience and black face towards her colleagues. I don’t know how this Tim’s trains its employees. I also reported it several times in the app’s questionnaire. This tim's main service target is the nearby industrial people , and the customers here include many other ethnic groups and immigrants. I don't know why an employee with racial superiority written on his face appears in front of you every morning. Tim, could you check it out every morning and see if there is senior employee who only chats and says hello to white customers. See for how she gets along with her colleagues. Even if she just poured sugar into the machine, she would be impatient to help her colleagues. Does it take two people to pour sugar? She just dislikes the efficiency of...
Read moreUPDATE: Almost a year later and the same issues still persist. Sitting down and ordering is fine as long as you're ready to go back and forth a few times to correct the order given to you. But be skeptical of every item you get through drive-thru.
Priority is given to drive through customers, so if you're in the store waiting in line, be prepared to wait longer. Regardless of whether you are in drive-thru or in the store, know that 50% of the time they will get at least one thing in your order wrong. Be prepared to triple check your order. Once, when you make the order. Second, after looking at the display of what the Tim Hortons employee punched into the machine. Third, as you're collecting your items.
Be careful if you're lactose intolerance here. The last two times I went they clearly lied about the milk they used. The first and second time, milk did not look like almond milk. The first time, I thought I might be mistaken, but I learned through my lactose intolerance, that I was not. The second time, I double checked with the Tim Hortons employee before being handed the coffee, and was told that it is in fact almond milk. Being lactose intolerant, they were 100% lying.
There have been multiple occasions when I received my order at the drive-thru. Then moments later, I would go into the store to tell them that they did it wrong.
And if there are multiple customers there with you, be prepared for the employees to accidentally give you the other customers order by accident. The only thing this place has going for it is the seating area and Wi-Fi. And, that it may motivate you to make your own coffee and...
Read moreThere are some Tim Horton’s coffee shops that keep their places clean, full of products, great tasting coffee and sandwiches, smiling servers, easy to understand the cashiers, well organised and clean washrooms. Then there are also some Tim Horton’s that is quite the opposite.
I have been going to this location since it was built. This location was a staple for cleanliness, great tasting coffee and service. The drive-thru was incredibly busy and inside you had to wait for an empty table.
Now is quite different. The picture was taken on Monday, November 27, 2017, at 4:06 pm with approximately six (6) patrons sitting at four 2-seated tables and one 4-seated table. Inside, the lineups are short and slow. It is common to see dirty washrooms with missing toiletries, dirty table, with skewed chairs, and sticky floors with missing muffins and donuts in the window display. It is also common for the coffee to taste burnt, soups to be overly salty, the chilli to be lukewarm and not hot, and the bread rolls sometimes stale. The cashiers tend to foul up the orders and are hard to understand in English. The servers look exhausted, they have been seen talking too much amongst themselves, and rarely smile while performing customer service.
The Tim Horton’s head office needs to review this shop and others for quality assurance and to take an initiative to see their franchise owners are taking the Tim Horton’s...
