I felt compelled to share my disappointing experience with this restaurant. While this establishment is generally acceptable, I've been a frequent customer, primarily ordering through Skip the Dishes. I've placed numerous orders with them, I cant count. as they are my go-to choice. As a result, I always include a note specifying that I do not consume chicken or turkey, which are foods I avoid, due to health. On occasion, if an item I order contains chicken, I discard it.
Last night, I was exceptionally hungry and decided to place an order, reiterating my preference for no chicken or turkey and requesting an assorted dish, even opting for a 30$ plus delivery. Additionally, I emphasized the importance of receiving boneless meat due to previous experiences. However, when the restaurant delivered the food, it contained only bone with no meat, and they disregarded my request regarding chicken and turkey. Even the turkey meat consisted entirely of bones, while the chicken was indeed chicken.
I contemplated contacting the owner but chose to share my frustration here. I've called them more than 20 times in the past, but it seems they haven't made any improvements. While the food quality is commendable, they often serve small portions or disregard customer preferences, which is unprofessional, especially when clear notes are provided.
Please note that they offer some of the best Nigerian food in Windsor, which is why I rated them 4 stars. I believe in being honest. However, their service and adherence to important health instructions have been consistently lacking. I've spent a considerable amount of money here, but it appears that they or the kitchen staff do not follow straightforward instructions, giving the impression that they don't care about customer satisfaction.

Would Recommend!
Be aware of the cost discrepancy. The menu pricing was wrong for Stew Beef. It's states $9.95 but charged $19.95 after it was ordered.
I was disappointed with amount of beef that I thought was associated with the initial cost of the meal. This had an affect on how I perceived the meal as a whole.
So a proper review is in order!
The stew beef was cooked properly but there was a burnt taste probably due to slight over-cooking of the spices. The rice was good. I would have liked more of the sauce with it. That probably would have fixed the spice issue of the burnt taste.
I also ordered the Jerk chicken and that was cooked properly and well seasoned. This made up for my initial disappointment of the stew beef. And was priced accurately and well worth it.
I'm of Caribbean background and a certified Red Seal Chef and I support local restaurants throughout the area. My initial disappointment due to my perceived value and size of the meal affected my initial rating of the food.
I still believe the portion size of the meal compared to the initial price is an issue and more sauce needs to added but the meal was good nonetheless. If these issues are addressed, I would recommend since they were not major issues.

**New to ordering this type of food..... fufu was good, but the rest of my meal wasn't enjoyable..I really wanted to like it..I even feel bad that I didn't. Maybe I'm not meant to eat that sort of food, but 5 other ppl and myself tried it and we all agreed that it didn't taste/or smell good at all. Reminded me of canned cat food/ravioli. I'm so sorry but if you're not accustomed to eating this food, it's not something you should just try and order. The taste isn't for everyone. Very expensive for what it was. And I had really high hopes for it. Even a friend who's eaten food like this said it was 'off' so I don't know what to even think.. really super sorry the review isn't positive but I wanted other to be forewarned that spending 50 on 2 meals, when you're not sure what you're ordering isn't...
