I'm waiting for someone to contact me i don't recommend for swim lessons EVER BEWARE this was our first time here for lessons and first lesson nothing but issues startinf with the least to the worst issue...this is for 4 children 1st child it was more issues with another parent 2nd child they are doing lessons in the wave pool he's 2 and a half learned absolutely nothing bc why would he, he can walk everywhere in the pool now he didn't want to learn just wanted to walk around 3rd and 4th child both girls in the same class with a male instructor not only were my girls on their bellies with their legs straight out this MAN GRABBED MY DAUGHTERS ANKLES BOTH OF THEM AND 1 OTHER GIRL IN THE CLASS (THERE WERE FOUR BOYS NOT TOUCHED AS WELL) HE GRABBED THEIR ANKLES WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT MY TEENAGE DAUGHTERS AND MOVED THEM FOR THEM IT WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE BOTH MY DAUGHTERS TOLD ME ABOUT IT AND THE FACT THEY DIDNT WANT TO RETURN NEVER HAS AN INSTRUCTOR EVER TOUCHED MY CHILD WITHOUT TELLING THEM OR WITHOUT CONSENT AND CONSIDERING THE EXTREMELY VULNERABLE POSITION THEY WERE IN HE SHOULD HAVE NEVER TOUCHED ANY OF THOSE GIRLS THAT MAN SHOULD BE FIRED THEY DONT EVEN WANT TO RETURN HERE AFTER THIS
Edit 1 I won't be returning to swim lessons I don't think the instructors are very good and then the inappropriate experience i had However someone did reach out to me to advise it's not their policy and the man did not abide by said policy the person I spoke with was very kind and understanding Unfortunately I do not know what happened with the instructor
Edit 2 my sons swim lessons ended today he was the only one we couldn't switch until next session the instructor was always late cutting into my sons swim lessons, she was careless, doesn't know how to instruct and I've been to alot of lessons most of the time she just stood and watched not a whole lot of instruction on the last day (sons 4) no teaching it was a fun day well she was going to take him on slides he's never been on water slides alone before she didn't teach anything my husband and I split up to ensure his safety from running and not just that he wasn't being taught how to use the slide safely and properly she's lucky he's OK especially since he whacked his head off the slide, she barely watched him was hardly present, one time she disappeared, most places just do toys and such in the pool she didn't even tell us where she was taking our 4 year old son she just took him I had to catch up and follow and ask where they were going she pointed to the big slides that are on the ground I said oh no he can't do that so she took him on the next small slide which is still fairly large to be doing by himself with zero supervision or trying to encourage him in a very shallow area to jump in it that is dangerous they have rules for not jumping and diving in shallow areas for a reason, she's lazy and she undermined my husband telling our son no he was going to do what she asked instead she caved and gave him what he wanted anyways
We went else where and their instructors are nothing but absolutely amazing and my 4 other children have made 10x the progress even my 2 year old than my 1 son did at this location I'm...
Read moreI wouldn't recommend their swimming lesson program to anyone. Absolutely ridiculous standards for children to pass. If a 6 year old cant use flippers they fail? Children with disabilities, guess what? Fail? Zero organization. They expect small children to pay attention when they place them beside teenagers learning their lifesaving, and right across from the other group that kept colliding into them because the instructors can not keep organized? Parents changing their children beside the pool instead of the change rooms leaving used swimmers disposable underwear's on the tables. The young man who's supposed to be in charge spending more time focusing on his own child that he brings with him them what is going on around him. We were litterly LIED to by the instructor when we asked if he would fail when he struggled to float on his back. She told us No, he has improved it will be fine. Well table turned today when they said he would not pass for the exact same reason. Not because he can't front stroke, he can. Not because he cant go down and come up on his own because he can. Because his neck is just to stiff when he is floating on his back so he isn't in the correct form. Is he sinking?? NO!! He can't kick with the flippers on?? SO WHAT??!! He isn't learning to snorkel or scuba dive. This is the only place that I have seen that uses flippers to teach them to keep their legs straight. And you fail kids because they can't use them?? Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had. And parking??? Pppfffttt make sure to get there a hour before the lesson starts. What a absolute waste of our time and money. Absolute disgrace. They were informed he had a disability when enrolled. The more stimulation around him the harder it is to focus. So again they are failing him not because he can't complete the APPROPRIATE tasks but because they had to put in extra effort as an instructors. They should be ashamed...

1 year review the good the bad the fun.
The Good:
The park is very well cleaned and maintained as best as possible. Alot of the staff are pretty awesome* (see subsection about issues).
Water chlorine is at a tolerable level / Wave pool has highest and can sting your eyes sometimes.
lots of unique and hard found water rides in Canada.
The Fun:
Flowrider - standing surf simulation (PRO'S BE AWARE, YOU MUST TAKE A 2 CLASS MIN TO DO STANDING - WATER OF RIDE IS AT VERY LOW SPEEDS 20KPH.) Master Blaster - Very unique and cool ride that shoots you upwards! Python - big tubes and a big slide into a very suprising outside part. Lazy River - usally pretty warm but can get crowded sometimes.
The Bad: FOOD PRICES: price to quality is sub average but if you need a snack or pizza for the kids its there...I guess.
Issues with Staffing: Dont get me wrong I LOVE the staff here most are really awesome and helpful or just high energy to get you pumped up. My only gripe is that some staff are either not trained adequetly for specific rides ( looking at you flowrider) personally I think staff who operate the Flowrider need to be more trained as to prevent injuries but also understand that this is a ride about skill, alot of the staff do not understand or have proper knowledge on the sport that is waveriding a high trill / skilled based ride that only works if its oprated properly and have an open mind on tricks as this is what the machine is made for. Not to mention the savings in cost of having to buy new boards every month because of poor trainning.
Overall I love this place the staff are awesome the food is expensive buts in the end you leave feeling like you had lots of fun and meet lots of cool...
