I recently visited Cafe March 21 with the intention of getting some work done in a comfortable environment. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I believe it's important to share my concerns in the hope that improvements can be made.

Upon entering, I inquired with the cashier about the possibility of working in the coffee shop. He informed me that I could do so as long as I made a purchase every three hours, a condition I found reasonable and agreed to. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered that this requirement was actually every hour which they told after purchasing the coffee, not every three hours as initially stated.

Furthermore, I was surprised to see that the menu included Korean noodles, suggesting more of a sit-down dining atmosphere than a traditional cafe setting. When I raised this concern with the cashier, he assured me that working in the cafe was still permissible. Unfortunately, this did not align with the actual experience when I received my coffee.

I purchased a cup of coffee for $8.50, only to find that the quality did not meet my expectations. The taste resembled that of instant coffee, making the high price point feel unjustified. Having to buy this subpar coffee every hour added to my disappointment, leaving me feeling misled and dissatisfied with the overall value.

In comparison, there are other nearby establishments, such as the Coffee Exchange just steps away, that offer better quality coffee, superior service, and a more conducive environment for work. I would strongly recommend reevaluating and transparently communicating your policies to customers to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future. Additionally, revisiting the quality of your coffee offerings would undoubtedly contribute to a more positive customer experience.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively, with the goal of enhancing the overall standards of Cafe March 21. Thank you for your attention to...

A pleasant experience. To make an order: Step 1: figure out what u want to drink/eat Step 2: call in and order kindly Step 3: repeat your order to make sure it's correct (u don't want to forget anything) Step 4: e-transfer the amount owed Step 5: wait patiently while the baristas kindly prepare your order Step 6: recieve the order Step 7: thank the barista Step 8: squeal in excitement, you can now sip on some beautiful coffee! ☕

Pros ☑️The cookies are good ☑️the barista is kind ☑️the coffee quality is supremo

Cons -Still waiting to find one

In my own, personal experience- This coffee is some of the best coffee I've had not only throughout Ontario, but throughout Alberta and British Columbia as well. A comparable cafe of the same caliber of quality would be CoCo's Café in Jasper Alberta (#1 on my list of favourite coffee drinks), but I digress. This coffee truly is quality that you can taste. I've travelled across Canada 6 times, stopped at coffee shops galore, and I say with confidence that this is a high quality shop.

Takeaway (get it??) -the lattes are amazing -it literally only took 3 minutes to get my coffee with curbside pickup -the staff is kind and courteous

In essence, saying that this shop is understated & I'm glad this coffee shop is alive.

I 💖 u March 21st, thanks for...

Immediately felt an unwelcoming presence (should have left based on my intuition) We experienced attitude from employees and employer (who does the cash) , if you require milk alternative they charge $2 additional, no WIFI, limited seating and they time you, as we barely spent 20-25 minutes there and got told we needed to buy something else -since they had a rush of younger kids coming in and need seats. Additionally, we felt discriminated since we were middle aged women trying to enjoy having a coffee and they left the other younger kids around us to enjoy their time. If you’re highly sensitive to low energy people, this is not the place to go. If you need to do business, ensure to go to a cafe where you can feel comfortable and not feel like you’re taking up their space. Suggestion; put these main policies on the door so people don’t waste their time. Especially if people are not reading the Google reviews. You feel so rushed, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. So unfortunate to have read the past one star reviews, as they really haven’t changed their attitudes, and only do good by their regular customers who will write THE BEST reviews for them. Will...

My absolute FAVOURITE cafe in Windsor - the amount of times I have posted on Instagram about them could possibly warrant me overtly obsessed or devoted - perhaps both. Every time we order something different and every time it’s perfect - from the Koreano (recently had their Bear size 🤭), to the Raspberry Latte, Banana Milk Latte, Tangerine Latte, Tiramisu Latte, Ube Matcha - I truly can’t pick a favourite drink because every time it’s based on vibes because all of them are so delicious both hot and cold. We also had a Korean breakfast sandwich which was SO good but was quite rich (flavour packed!) We also love that we can bring our dog to hang out on the patio with us, always make a stop when visiting the dwfarmers market and we love always looking at all their cute touches inside the cafe.
