Environment:] I really like the environment here, both the indoor and outdoor patios are worthy of praise. It can be seen from its architecture that this restaurant has a sense of age. As soon as I entered the door, I was attracted by its various retro elements, such as old newspapers, old photos, etc. I really [cryed]! ! ! Because the city of Gananoque is full of green plants, it is really comfortable to see the blue sky, white clouds and green plants from the window in the restaurant. When I walked to the Patio, I decided to sit here. The entire Patio is also surrounded by various green plants and potted plants, and you can also enjoy the scattered sunshine, which is great! [Service:] This store is similar to a coffee shop. You order first and then take a seat. I think it is more in line with the North American style. After ordering, they will deliver the food. The service attitude is very good. Seeing the smiles on their faces will add a lot of points, haha😃 [Dishes:] I think the taste is okay. Although it's not particularly amazing, I'm generally satisfied. [Price:] Personally, I think the price is relatively affordable. After ordering two meals and two drinks, the final settlement was less than 50 CAD, so I asked you whether you are satisfied with the price. (I think the price/performance ratio is relatively high [呲ya]) [Location:] The restaurant is located in downtown Gananoque, about a 10-minute walk (walk slowly) from the boat dock. It is just right to walk slowly after eating and take the boat. [cuckold The environment of the whole store is really a plus. The taste of the products is not particularly large, but the price is relatively affordable. Overall, the price/performance ratio is relatively high. No wonder it has a 4.3 on Google map. ⭐, I personally think it is worth at least 4.5⭐,...
Read moreWe were the unsuspecting tourist who did not have a lot of cell or wifi coverage but had seen 4 stars for this restaurant. We may have caught the owner/host on a bad day but in the end were shocked by her behavior. We waited quite some time to be seated and when we finally were by the owner I had to go get our menus and it took ten minutes until we could order drinks. She was so scattered that she brought us 2 bottles of water and had to ask us our drink order again. My 18 year old son who has his own small business commented that he felt rushed because of the owner's behavior. We finally get drinks and she asked to take our order. My youngest asked for the hamburger and the owner the same person who sat us says "Whoever sat you should have told you that our grinder broke this morning. A $700 high end grinder and it broke this morning." This became a problem because he is a picky eater so we said we would pay for our drinks and eat elsewhere. She never returned with our check so after 10 minutes we were starved and decided to leave since we could not find her. As we exited her side ramp she yelled out to us and my husband asked, "Do you have the check?" Her response was "I'm just a small business it's okay!" The sad part is the food that we did see come out to people who were sat after us looked really good. I was excited to eat the Thai salad. So maybe she was just having a bad day but when 2 members in your family own a small business and the 18 year old can figure out the poor planning at this business you question whether the service is ever good. We wish we could give 0 stars since we never...
Read moreVery bad service! Upon arrival of 6 of us for breakfast at 9:00 am- they were ALREADY out of filtered coffee! We had to order a Canadiano each. Which does not have refills unless you pay! then, the menu has The Spoon $16.00- 2 eggs with 4 strips of bacon,t- sourdough toas as seen on the menu attached. After 5 of us ordered that, the waitress comes back and says that we can only have sausage or we have to pay extra for the bacon- $5.00 each! We had her bring the manager out- who tried to pin it on the poor young waitress (around 16 yrs old) saying she should have told us bacon was extra since it is too expensive to change their menus! Well.....it isn't even changed online! Then she said she would not charge for our coffees. We go ahead, and all have the sausages- which were the smallest sausages I have ever seen. Around 2 inches long- and there were 3. No potatoes or fries either. After the 5 of us were finished our meals, the 6th person finally got her bagel with salmon that she ordered at the same time. So she watched us eat....then had hers come out because I guess they had to catch the salmon! When we had 4 coffee refills- we were charged!! Because they had no filter coffee. Worse experience! The only pleasant thing about the meal was our poor young waitress. This restaurant obviously does not care about repeat customers. Do not go there! We paid over $100 for 6 breakfasts that could not include bacon, filtered coffee or any potatoes. And did not even get to eat at the same time. I think Laverne is...
