Tahini's — Restaurant in Ontario

This was my first time ordering from here. I placed my order online about 20 minutes before arriving, then drove roughly 30 minutes to pick it up. When I got there, the order still wasn’t ready. Before I could even say anything, the woman at the counter harshly told me to stand on the other side.

When I explained that I had placed an order online, she simply said the food wasn’t ready — I ended up waiting another 20 minutes, and even after that, my order still wasn’t prepared. It’s now been over an hour and I still haven’t received my food.

To make things worse, the staff member was on her phone while preparing food, using the same gloves for both handling the food and the phone — completely unhygienic. Other customers were visibly upset too, as their orders were also poorly made.

Management seriously needs to address this. Why accept online orders if you’re not ready to fulfill them? At the very least, have one person dedicated to customer service and another to prepare the food.

I recently visited Tahini’s , and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of spices filled the air, setting the stage for a fantastic meal.

Food: The shawarma was simply amazing. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap, and it was packed with juicy, flavorful meat. The garlic sauce was the perfect complement, adding a creamy richness. The fresh vegetables added a nice crunch, making every bite satisfying.

Terrible experience for me. They had one employee working at dinner. This is a super busy place for dinner. The management must be incompetent or cheap...to only have one other person scheduled who called in sick. Waited 1 hr for our order...4 shawarmas all of them were done wrong. Missing sauces or have toppings that were not supposed to be on it. I don't blame the worker cause she was only by herself with dozens of orders to do. Poorly managed place trying to save money. This girl should get paid triple her wage for what I seen her doing today. Good food but not worth paying good money to wait an hour and have your food made incorrectly.
