the kids screening room movies are an amazing idea! I took my 4 year old foster son to see shrek tonight since he LOVES popcorn movie nights and has been dying to go to the movies for a while but I was always too nervous I’d pay so much for him to not like it or he’d be too loud for other people. It was the perfect place for me to take him because I knew it was meant for kids and people wouldn’t mind him being loud (I also thought the popcorn and juice combo was an awesome deal). Turns out he was amazing! Wasn’t loud at all and stayed awake the whole time too! The staff were super nice too and gave him a cup of water when he ran out of juice which normal movie theatres wouldn’t do. I also noticed quite a few families with loud kids and I could tell they don’t go to the movies often and probably really appreciate the judge free zone. A charming Indie Movie Theatre!

They have an excellent selection of screenings with old to new movies. They take feedback on what people want to watch.

Their popcorn is an absolute must try! I've never had popcorn so delicious. We went back to watch movies just to eat their popcorn while enjoying a good film. Popped with coconut oil, they top it with real butter for free!

Lots of beverage options at the front as well, including local breweries, hot beverages served in mugs, and your classic pop.

They offer memberships thet give you discounts on movie tickets, which are an absolute steal, especially if you're a student. Can be purchased online or in-person.

After you enter the building, you walk up the stairs on the right, past another gate of doors, and you'll be at the Screening Room!

Cinematic gem in the heart of downtown Kingston with superior accessibility thanks to the recent renovations. Excellent concessions are far less expensive than the big movie plexes. Buttered popcorn is fabulous and there is a good selection of drinks. The accessible washroom is quite possibly the largest I have found anywhere and could accommodate large mobility devices and care assistants with ease. While everyone is lined up in Toronto for TIFF, you can see first rate films here with no hassle and low prices.
