Read moreWith the massive price increases in their menu you would think your meal would be perfect. Hot plates!! COLD FOOD!!!! Went out with company, ordered a few Apps, calamari, tiny little pieces, not very tasty. Cauliflower was okay but cold. Ordered a 12oz NY peppercorn steak,All I could taste was charred peppercorns on my lukewarm steak. Veggies undercooked and cold. Only the fries were hot on my plate. My guests meals were also cold, one guest sent their meal back because it was ice cold, they returned in two minutes after microwaving, and the replated plate had less food on it than before it was returned. Tried some of kids chicken fingers meal, dry, tasteless more breading than chicken and also cold. Honestly Walmart frozen chicken fingers taste better. I know it's only chicken fingers but they should taste good. They gave kids a veggie platter which is nice, however celery was wilted and carrots were spotty and black on one side. Kids and people love ketchup, they should bring larger bowls when fries are ordered. They did comp my guests cold meal..however more of us could have complained but did not want to create too large an incident. Not a very pleasant dinner experience this time around. At least nobody became ill with being served under 165° farenheit food. I guess any meal you can eat and don't become sick afterwards is a positive. Might have to try the downtown location next time around if we ever go back to The Keg... or just cook steaks at home, at least meals would be hot and...
Read morePoor customer service. Went there with my fiancee and the waiter was unprofessional. The waiter was actually trying to hit on my fiancee. It was very subtle. But nonetheless I was there to take my fiancee out for a good night that she deserved. I don't regret not saying anything, why let immaturity ruin my night with my fiancee. Frustrating when you go to a place you can only afford a few times a year and have to put up with that type of behavior.
I had been there before with my daughter and friends a few months prior and ordered the New York 12 Oz steak with mash potatoes and the plate was full and when I was done I was quite content and had enjoyed my meal and the night.
This time with my fiancee I ordered the same as last time (new york steak) and the portion was significantly smaller. The steak was smaller and I had enough mash potatoes that couldn't even fill a one year old infant. I finished my meal and was still so hungry I wanted to order anouther steak. But really why should I!? I only way 200 lbs. The one I ordered should of been enough, plus the keg is expensive. I'm not the type of person to complain, I just won't go back again. But I will right this review. I will never go back to the Keg again. I think I'll try some new steak places my friends and fiancee suggested.
This is my second review ever. Never thought I'd be writing one about the Keg of...
