To the Owner
On March 11th around 11.20am to eat lunch.At that time the cashier was serving an employee going on lunch break.First that cashier was having a conversation with another employee and taking her time preparing the food for the employee going on break.I stood alone a good 12 minutes waiting to be serve at that time no other customer at the counter waiting.Getting tired waiting because that cashier was pouring some chillys in a small cup I did ask her how long I do have to wait to be serve.She look at me with a look to say;( what do need )I look at my watch it was 11.35 I then told her ( is the customer is important in your business to be serve when he come to eat.
My daughter Brigitte us to be the manager at Moores mens store in Cornwall and I use to go to Wendys because it was friendly and the store was clean and the food excellent.I visited your place at least a good forty times before my daughter was transferred to Ottawa to another Moores store.
I would like to mention I did spend over twenty years in food industry with Marriott Corp.in Washington DC,Harrisburg Penn.in the Roy Rogers restaurant and cafeteria div as General manager and I can assure you my priority was: SERVICE,QUALITY OF FOOD,AND CLEANLINESS.The customer was my BOSS and giving me my pay check. After waiting I left and went to eat at Burger King which it is not the best in Cornwall but I was hungry. Brigitte and me left Ottawa at 7.30am because Brigitte had an Appointment at the Optometrist and I was going for the ride.Am very sorry to my visit at your place and hope you can find who was cashier at the time of my visit,That employee need more training or find another kind of work.

Read more*The service was very bad *I was charged $1.05 more tax than I should HV paid *The Fries were squished to the bottom of the bag with everything on top of them I wanted to show the manager that I was being charged too much tax but she was on the phone & there was 4 cars waiting behind me I didn't get my bill looked after by the manager so I paid $1.05 extra tax & have to go bk to the restaurant to get it rectified tomorrow *The week before I was not give my beverages so I had to return to get them & had to wait in line again ..... The employees ( night shift) are polite but we're not trained properly (which is the responsibility of the management to do that job Do that the employees hv the proper SKILLS for & to do the job correctly I am a Teacher of 45 yrs in the Profession & teach the grade 10 students in Secondary Schools a course called "Careers" This course teaches basic skills in the work force. Read moreChicken fingers over cooked. Cheese sauce on potato was runny and they added dried shredded cheese to it too. The counter person never asked if he was fir here or to go. This is the first time in since their renovation, I will give them 1 more chance before I decide if I will ever return to this particular Wendys.
3 weeks later, tried again. Door was blocked by Skip drivers who were on their phones. Waited a few moments while the counter person was talking to others. Placed my order (2 JBC plain, 5 nuggets sbd a bacon cheese sauce baked potato. Got the food. Bacon on JBC was ok but over cooked, the potato was only covered in shredded cheese. I waited about 15 minutes to eat it ar home. Thank God because there was no fork. The potato tasted rubbery. The skin was burnt near the slit. The cheese melted due to the time I waited. Same over cooked bacon Doesn't look like I will be back to this restaurant anytime soon. I am not done with Wendy's just the Cornwall Wendy's. This caused me to lower the star count to 1 from 2.
