Boyfriend and I used to come here religiously all the time and visit this location multiple times per week. The staff here are friendly and amazing in every single way. We have consistently chosen this place over other sandwich restaurants in the area due to constitently great food and service we have received in the past.
Recently we have encountered an issue with one individual who we think is the owner (based on the information we received from the usual staff).
Every time I have ordered a sub I have never had a problem with an employee for asking for extra vegetables. Some employees put a bit too little and I believe when going to a submarine resturant, your intention is to have the sandwich customized to your liking. Some customers ask for a little and some ask for a lot. It's all about personal preference.
When asking this particular employee for extra veggies, he refused and told me in the future to order a salad if I want additional veggies. I do not understand why after 10 years of consistently ordering the same thing and having the same preferences that all of sudden I cannot ask for extra vegetables.
As a resturant, your experience should be consistent and the food you get should be consistent. However this experience clearly did not meet the consistently that I'm used to as a loyal customer. Staff should be all trained the same in regards to their procedures and not have different rules from one another.
When visiting the location today, we asked for the same thing from a different employee. However he was in and overheard the order then said he enacted this new rule that no one can ask for extra vegetables and that if we did not like it we can take our business elsewhere.
Well guess what, we are and we are never going to return to this location again. You have lost yourself two loyal...
Read moreThe staff here used to make great subs, but the new hires didn't know how to make them. The bread was cut unevenly (I asked to get it recut, and the second time wasn't any better), the meat was heated up poorly, and it wasn't toasted for nearly long enough. The staff member didn't know what sauce to put on a chicken parm, or how to layer the toppings onto the sandwich. They didn't even know what meats when on an assorted cold cut, nor what the request for light or extra toppings meant.
Honestly, it blew me away. It took over twenty minutes to make three subs: one chicken parm, and two assorted.
The staff didn't even know what bread they had. I asked for cheese and they claimed it was out of stock. Only for the person behind me to get two cheese breads, one foot long and one six inch.
Save yourself the grief and support businesses elsewhere that can hire proper staff and...
Read moreSeemed like the worker did not want to be there at all. I understand that itâs not an ideal job, but when you got customers in the store, donât rush them out. I got there at about 10:45, which is over an hour before theyâre supposed to close. I was deciding on what to get for me and my girlfriend, the person working told me to hurry up as he has to close the store soon. I said, âdonât you close at 12â and he said yes but I have lots to do. The restaurant was empty when I got there. Then when preparing our food, he does not go through the process of asking us what toppings we want, what dressings, or ask us if we wanted it toasted, just proceeds to wrap up an unfinished sandwich. Then when I asked him to unwrap it so that he can toast it, he shows me attitude. I wonât be coming back to this...
