This review deserves less than one star, but that is what Google permits. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally in my entire life. My family and I, after a long day of moving (new to the area), decided to stop by for some wings. Our son was not hungry at all and very tired. We asked if he wanted a drink or food and he replied no thank you. We ordered him water. Please note that we were not offered a kids menu and having looked at the main menu, we assumed that there just wasn't one as we haven't been to this restaurant before. I ordered a wing dinner and my husband ordered the all you can eat special. Our order was taken and we were not given any other instruction. Our food came and I coaxed my son to try one of my wings to see if he might feel hungry. The owner came by and said "oh would you like a kids menu" and we replied "yes, thank you. he isn't very hungry, but we would like to take a look" he brought the menu and all was good. as our dinner progressed, our son started to get an appetite and decided that he would like a few fries. we ordered a side of fries, which turned out being for two people, and so we decided to share. my husband ordered another round of wings and we ordered another drink as well. as we were enjoying our food, the owner approached us and said (extremely confrontational) you have been warned twice about not sharing and you refuse to follow the rules about all you can eat and so I am forced to charge you for another wing dinner. the fries are very cheap and you are on camera and so it is best you don't embarrass yourself. Extremely taken aback and puzzled, we agreed and said oh we were not aware of this rule and our son only ate one wing, but if you need to charge, go ahead. when he returned, I felt it important that he know that we were never made aware of the rules and explained that we had no intention of deceiving anybody or anything of that nature. he told us that we knew what we were doing and that we should stop talking to avoid confrontation and walked away. Our waitress came back to the table and I asked for the bill because we wanted to leave and I had never felt so disrespected before. Please note that this conversation occurred while our son was in the washroom as I did not want him to be witness to this. the owner reappeared and my husband asked him to charge us for a full wing dinner as well as an additional one to go (4 meals in total). the owner replied by saying that there was no need for that. my husband again asked for us to be charged for an additional meal because he obviously thought that we received more than we paid for. i added that he did not need to threaten us with cameras and that had we been made aware of their rules, we had no problem paying. he replied in saying that he did not charge us for any extra meals. we were only charged for what we ordered. the waitress lied and said that she had offered us a kids menu and we declined because we were just all going to eat the all you can eat wings. i asked her if she could really say that to my face...i was obviously upset at this point. the owner told her not to bother with us. I paid the bill, my son returned from the washroom and we left. I have never been so caught off guard and so disrespected in my life...i am not sure what type of clientele this owner is used to dealing with, but it is unjust and just plain bad business to assume that all customers would be so dishonest and deceitful. needless to say we will not return and we recommend that you spend your time and...
Read moreMy husband, mother and I went out for lunch at this location. We are extremely disappointed with the service here. We have always loved St. Louis. Their food is amazing and are never disappointed. This time was different. We got seated and ordered, our waitress was very nice, attentive and super helpful. When we got our food everything was very much room temperature and for myself and my mother we don’t mind as we don’t like our food too hot anyways. That being said our food should be hot. My husband just told our waitress it wasn’t hot and she asked if she could get him a new one and we said yes that would be great. That was amazing service and we appreciate it. However the manager (we think) came over to us and asked how everything was and my husband just said his wasn’t too hot and she was getting him a new one. He proceeded to argue with my husband saying my mothers fries were made the same as his and his food was hot. We said we understand what he is saying but we don’t agree that as it wasn’t hot. He continued to argue with my husband about it instead of simply apologizing or even just leaving it at “okay no worries”. Super unprofessional and ridiculous honestly. I don’t really think someone who is looking to fight customers on their food order should be a manager. If you’ve gotten this far my advice is to simply go to a different restaurant or different St. Louis or st louis needs to get a manager who respects customers and doesn’t have an attitude. I’ve been in the food service business enough to know people like this manager won’t change their mind on how they approach people or situations. Super ridiculous and...
Read moreFirst time going here for me and my family and it was a horrible experience.. We had a party of 13 and only 2-3 other tables were taken so it wasn't busy.
Our setup was 5 tables put together and these were the most wobbly tables I have ever used. The wobble was so bad drinks would spill.
All the drinks were flat was was probably the worst fountain pop I have had at a restaurant. I got a burger with fries and my wife had the misfortune of getting the rosé pasta. The Fries are amazing and the burger was okay but you could tell the grill was dirty and left burnt pieces on the burger making odd bites taste pretty nasty. The pasta was almost unbearably cold mush. The noodles were so over cooked it was like baby food and the sauce tasted like dollar store marinara with 3 pieces of chicken in it.
Our server Nitin maybe was new? Maybe didn't wanna be there? I don't know but this was a very bad serving experience. After taking our order he never came back to refill drinks or check in, people from the table had to get up and find him or other servers to ask for refills and questions. After a crazy long wait and getting our apps and meals at the same time we had another long period of missing server for refills. We asked if he could get our cake we brought for the birthday and after 20 mins no cake so we asked again and then the server was cleaning tables and talking. It was over 30 minutes asking for it and actually getting it.
This was a horrible experience for this chain I don't think...
