Subway — Restaurant in Oshawa

Subway - Eat Fresh. How about "5. 5 dollar. 5 dollar foot looooongs." Does anyone remember that. Well, my friends, times have changed. Now it's "13.99. 13.99 dollar. 13.99 dollar foot looooongs." For example, my handsome son and I went to get subs for lunch. He got a footlong combo. I got a footlong, no combo. I swear, the total for our meal was more than the extensive dental work I had done in Turkey. Seriously, if you are going to charge fine dining prices, at least change the atmosphere. How about a tablecloth? Maybe some light romantic rock, Kenny G perhaps. How about sticking a plastic rose in a cheap dollar store vase? Actually, for the money you can spend to feed three people at Subway, you can get an extra large pizza and still go out for a happy ending, if you know what I'm saying. Seriously, for that kind of money, I better be leaving a tip, and I'm not talking financially. The people that work there are awesome, this isn't their fault. This is just how things are in Canada these days. But, if you insist on bending me over a table, at least lubricate with mayonnaise and sub sauce, don't use chipotle, and country-wide economic decline. I've heard that one before, and it still really, really, hurts. As I mentioned, the people are great, and the food is great, but the price is more than a titanium double hip replacement. Love the chocolate chunk cookies. Very friendly and personable...

This will be the last time I visit this place! Very VERY unprofessional staff. A person who was ahead of me waited in line for over 20 minutes just to buy cookies. Once to the counter, was made to wait an additional 10 minutes while the girl finished my sloppily made sub. He asked her for the cookies and she refused to give them to him then started swearing at him saying he was never in line when he was the whole time! That didn't matter it was only him and I after a large rush of people. If I could give no stars I would! The sub BTW was the worst my 13 year old daughter had ever had from there! It was her supper before...

I went to this subway the last time on August 18th 2019. When I went there around 11:45p.m I was the last customer since this location closed at 12.00a.m. I got a sub with a drink. There was fruit flys all around the machine but I proceeded to fill my fountain drink. I ate the subway in my car with my drink. Half way through finishing my drink I opened the lip and saw about 9 fruit flys floating on top. By the time I noticed the location was closed. I emailed this location and they did nothing. I really hope they start cleaning better but I thought I’d warn anyone who was thinking about going to...
