I pulled in last night (03/07/2025) at approximately 12:20AM to grab my seven year old cousin a Double Cheeseburger with no onions, just the sandwich only, not a meal and my mom wanted a Dave's Single with Chili Fries. They kept changing the order and contradicting me and my mother in the Drive-Thru to the point where I asked the person at the Drive-Thru speaker if it was easier for me to pull over and walk into the restaurant and order in person. It seemed that they didn't even bother to listen to our order, they just handed my seven year old cousin a cheeseburger with absolutely nothing on it. I had to add the ketchup myself at my house. I should also mention that my cousin spent his evening with my mom to see a Toronto Raptors game and I was picking him and my mom up from the GO Train Station, they were both exhausted and he was hungry and he can not sleep when he is hungry so he was in a miserable state and it seemed like they just didn't care about the order I was making to feed him even though I was perfectly okay to pay money for it.
Oh and let me also mention that a few years ago they once kept me and my mom waiting in the restaurant for 45 minutes to an hour before taking our order which greatly frustrated the people behind us. I don't know what the issue is with this particular restaurant on King Street, but they seem very disorganized and I think a lot of the people working there should be fired for their failure to be professional and courteous to the customer actively listen to the order that's being made and do it in a timely manner.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION PERIOD, otherwise expect them to not respect your time and give you something that doesn't even begin to meet the criteria of the order you want for the money that you pay for. If I could give them zero stars out of five, I would. This particular restaurant and their employees actually give merit to self-serve kiosk machines being placed in fast food places which puts some of these jobs on the chopping block and that sadly affects employees who actually care about the customer, unlike these...
Read moreHonestly one of the worst drive thru experiences I’ve had, I pulled up to the speaker and the woman taking my order was very friendly at first, I wasn’t ordering for myself but for my brother who was sitting in the backseat, so while ordering I wasn’t able to answer right away because I was trying to figure out what he’d like. The woman taking our order seemed to become progressively annoyed by the fact that I wasn’t ordering “fast enough”, after I would place an order for an item she would “ask is that everything?” Every time. It honestly just felt like I was being rushed out of the drive through.
After we got our food and drive off my brother started to eat his burgers, he then asked me if I had asked them for 2 double baconators (we had ordered 2 single baconators), I told him no then told him to double check the receipt to see what they charged us for and he replied telling me they charged us for 2 doubles, not what I had asked for, and costed more than I would have liked to spend.
While all of this is annoying and inconvenient to me I wasn’t going to do anything about it because I also work in fast food and I completely understand being stressed out, understaffed, or just frustrated, what really upset me is the fact that he found not one but 2 hairs in his burgers so we threw them out. I paid almost $30 on food there just to not be able to eat half of it, and when I called no one answered, I had called about 4 times and got sent to...
Read morePulled in just before 1 am New Year's eve/day. A big lineup, but it's New Years Eve, and figured Wendy's was the quickest way to get food for the night. An hour later, still waiting, and notice that the Uber/Skip the Dishes drivers are clustered at the pickup window (probably twenty of them at one point). No one has been served in the drive through for an hour... I ask if they are still serving and the lady there says they will take our order in two minutes, and yes they are still serving drive through. Half an hour later, I go up to the window and ask why they haven't served any of us in the drive through lineup. At this point the manager tells me they closed at 2 (half an hour before) and they can't take any orders from drive through. I am pretty angry, and ask why I was told two minutes and that I would be served. No answer, just a "very sorry". Why weren't the people in drive through told they weren't going to be served? Obviously this Wendy's doesn't care about the general public... I guess delivery drivers are the priority. I understand Uber Eats drivers are just doing their job but for the restaurant to totally ignore everyone in drive through is probably the worst customer service I've seen at a...
