Omgshhh, what a nightmare. Where should I start? Walked into the establishment, waited to order but, it took a while to be served so I went to the washroom, As I made my way there, that’s when the manager decided to only give me attention and try to stop me as I went to the washroom. What a bad start. Then I get to the table because we wanted to order and take pictures (photoshoot/promo session), but we were told we couldn’t even take pictures at first till we informed the staff member, that we wanted to get good pictures of the food and the fit in good lighting. After that, we asked the staff member to ask if the chef could put the food we ordered through uber eats in a plate, just because we wanted to give a nice, fair representation of the food well plated, but the manager for some reason took offence to a simple request by showing hostility and giving glares throughout our stay. It didn’t make sense, but it did impact my experience in a negative way. We finally got the notification about the food being done and when I went to inquire, because no one bothered to check on us, the staff member was nice at that moment and checked the back for me. She looked back over at me and said it’s mine, but every time she was about to bring my food the manager called her back to kitchen. It happened about three or four times, which unlocked a new fear for me. The staff member, finally brought my food out and we gathered our things ready to leave as we no longer felt welcome, which was a first. On our way out, we requested cutlery, because we noticed we were not given any, one staff member claimed without even checking that they were out of cutlery, but the other found some for me in a box full, just a few feet away. We unpacked our items elsewhere in a more safe and more welcoming environment, only to find hair and inedible meat packed into our food. Stay safe everyone. I don’t wish this horrible experience on anyone just trying to eat out and have a good time.

After eating all over in Ottawa, we chose our last meal to be a bit different. A texmex restaurant in canada was waht we came up with. Again, empty due to mandates, so exceptional service. Honestly everywhere we went staff was super friendly. Canadians know how to treat people it seems. We ordered many margaritas (ofcourse) which they had several flavors to choose from even a few unique kinds. They were very tasty, but questionable on alcohol levels. To drink as many as we did, we should have been stumbling home, but I guess they got us to order more this way too. We gor nachos as app and ofcoirse steaks for dinner. Menu was decent but I believe a few more options and some additional choice of sides are needed. My steak was great, but the wifes was very under cooked for her preference. Waiter took it back and the manager delivered it back himself. Again, good service. The eaitwr came back and said he took half off our order as well. Not needed nor did we ask, but very cool of him to offer. So we ordered another round of drinks and churos for dessert. Honestly the churos were the major highlight for me. Best I've ever had (I've never been to Mexico or even California or Texas for that matter though) I liked the dipping sauces if chocolate and caramel they came with. I mixed the two and way over ate. The decire was pretty nice and felt very open and personal. I liked that even if the place was packed, I didn't feel it. Prices were par for steakhouse type restaurants. This was our biggest bill of the trip by far. Not top of my list of places to visit in Ottawa especially if your from america and even less if your from the south west as this place would not compare, but it was nice to relax, get great service and a good meal that was honest feeling as well as a different experience rolled into one.

As someone living on the other side of the river, a 40-minute drive away, I have repeatedly faced issues with takeout from this location. My continued patronage is becoming increasingly questionable. On my most recent order, I chose: Festive Fajitas for 2 ($64.99) -Included Queso & Chips (8 oz), - Fajita Especial for 2, - Signature Flour Tortillas, --No Ribs - Sub extra Chicken, --and Hershey's Kisses. 6 Fresh Baked Tortillas ($4.99) Specifically requested Gluten Free Corn Tortillas due to dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the order was far from what was expected. Not only did I receive ribs despite requesting a substitution, but the Queso & Chips, which I had paid for as part of the package, were missing. The 6 extra Gluten Free Tortillas, that I paid for, vital for my girlfriend who has IBS and cannot eat regular tortillas, were not included. This oversight is particularly frustrating given the significant effort and time invested in traveling 40 minutes for the pickup. It's disappointing when simple requests and dietary needs are disregarded, impacting both the enjoyment of the meal and posing potential health concerns. For those in search of reliable takeout options, I'd recommend considering McDonald's in the Byward Market instead. It may not offer a gourmet experience, but it is fast, and the service has proven to be more dependable.

First time visiting and my friend has already told me about this place but I was hungry and the treatment made me so toxic. We stood at the entrance waiting to be placed a seat and the lady at the desk just started until she thought maybe she should escort us..The waitress was yelling at me after I clearly told him that I wanted a burger and my friend will be getting the steak fajita and he was asking “with that be separate” after I told him what did he mean because the question made absolutely no sense.. he told me since I didn’t know what I wanted he’ll come back.. he than went over to the other table with a group of young girls to talk about us.. remind you, the guy waiters continuesd going back and forth and ignoring us and flirting with these four drunk girls in the booth. Than he stopped serving my table and asked another server to help us.. the waters were not refilled and when we asked for it to be filled she took 10minutes to come back and instead of her taking back the empty glasses she left it on our table with the new glasses of water. Don’t think I will be coming back here again.. poor customer service. I also feel that all of the servers were intoxicated thry were all drunk and kept slurring words or had difficulties staying focused. The food also tasted very cheap for the high prices. Also, I felt very uncomfortable because they had a frame hung up on the wall in the corner above a booth that said “ lynching n**... and when we asked about that the waiter than came up with alll these excuses and how sorry she was yet still left it hung up. Racism is definitely alive here. Felt it the moment I...
